Pros: Staffs are friendly and available 24 hours. They speak good English, and they have free city map. The location is just cool, just walking distance from the city wall and subway station. There are lots of attractions at just walking distance. I booked trip to the Terracotta Warriors using hostel and it was really nice. There is nice bar... More

Buzzing atmosphere. The set up is funky. There's a bar below too. Rooms are fairly quiet. Met some great long-time friends here. Staff can help with train and air tickets. There are posters with ideas and ways to get to local sights. Would recommend the hostel's tour to the Terracotta warriors. Lady Ja Ja is the best. You can do... More

The best about this hostel is the service: The young people working there speek good English and are eager to help in every way they can: they booked show tickets for us, made phone calls, sent away our postcards, got a sewing kit for us, etc. This is real motivation and how customer service should work! Ok, maybe the room... More

Enjoyed my two night stay here in the 8 bed dorm however the hostel was very quiet and lacked atmosphere. there was only one other person staying in my room during my time here. I did like how the hostel organized activities every evening and there was a bar downstairs which I heard was very popular however I never had... More

Paid for extra for the double with garden view and received a twin on the first floor with a courtyard view (double is more expensive). Very dirty with ripped bedding and baby cockroaches. The bathroom door was rotten due to the paint coming off and soaking the water up so had a terrible musty smell. The location was fantastic and... More

We stayed there only for a night, but the hostel seemed nice and clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. You can get a free coffee or beer when you check-in. We left our bags there for a day while visiting the Terracotta Warriors and didn't have to pay. The coffee bar and restaurant are good and you... More

Let's put this property into perspective. It's by no means a nice place or comfortable place but for the price you definitely get more than you pay for. Beds are clean, facilities need cleaning and updating. Bar downstairs is noisy and thumpy. The restaurant does western good pretty well but again it's nothing spectacular but does the job for a... Stayed at this hostel for a week and it was a wonderful experience. The hostel itself is located close to the city walls and close to everything of interest. The staff all speak English (as well as several other languages) and are really helpful and friendly - they go out of their way to make sure everyone is OK. The... More

After staying at some hit and miss hostels during my trip, this one was definitely a hit. Lovely atmosphere, relaxing courtyard and excellent English speaking staff. Evening activities available aswell for those wishing to socialise. Excellent food and drink plus free beer or coffee ticket on arrival. Highly recommended.

Friendly service with a bunch of energetic front desk crew. Feel very much at home with loads of nice places to visit in walking distance. Located right at the south gate at Xi'an city where you can easily catch a bus or train to connect you everywhere. The only setback will be the night club at lower ground floor. avoid... More
