Guilin Bravo Hotel, Guilin, is situated overlooking a large park with an equally large lake. Our room was at the back of the hotel and overlooked the less salubrious views of China a dilapidated shanty style assembly of buildings. Other than that the room was satisfactory and met our needs for the two-night stay. There were two rooms for breakfast...

A lovely hotel in a fabulous location by the river. It is a way out of the main city but to be honest it was preferable. The area around was lovely to walk around especially in the evenings as the river/lake areas were illuminated and really pretty. The room was excellent, spacious, clean and modern. The breakfast choices were varied...

This was a nice hotel we stayed in on our travels. Spent two nights here. The room was huge, with useful plugs so you didn't need any adaptors. When going for breakfast, they first persuaded us to go for the western breakfast. This was really awful. The second day, we persuaded them to let us have the Chinese breakfast. This...

The location is good. Good restaurants and the night markets were close by. The restaurant inside the hotel was pretty good for breakfast offering both Western and Asian options. We had free drink tickets for the bar, but no one was there to serve. We had to go to the front desk to ask for service, and when they came...

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. Yes it is some way out of the city, but a walk around the lake at night note than compensated for that. The walk around the lake is illuminated and if you take the time you walk into the night market which is extraordinary. The Gulin Bravo is a very clean,...

Stayed here one night only. Room smelled strangeof perfume - apparently trying to cover up the smell of heavy smoking in the room. It did not work. Room smelled funny. Very spacious though. Big bed and ok bathroom. Decoration and styling like Liberace did it himself. Location quite nice. Right next to a lake and a supermarket 20 meters away.

It is in a good location. The bed was comfortable and clean. However, the room smelled like smoke, the ac did not work, the mini fridge did not work, and the room was just plain worn out and dirty. I would not recommend others stay here.

Stayed 1 night at end of a 2 week tour of mainland China before flying to Hong Kong. One of the better hotels included in the tour. Room clean, well maintained and equipped. Breakfast Western or Chinese, served in separate rooms, good selection in western side. Not all staff able to speak English, but everyone we dealt with went out...

A good hotel in ideal location for best area on our tour. Hotel has couple shops itself but others nearby. Best part is walk along river to town, please ensure you walk back as getting dusk to experience all the lights , it is spectacular, like fairyland and takes good 35 mins. Town itself is good for better shops and...

My group of 30 and I stayed here for 2 nights in January and we were very pleased. Check-in was quick and efficient! Staff was very helpful and courteous. Excellent hotel security. My room was very clean with fresh bed linens and towels. Complimentary breakfast was very, very good with a good mix of eastern and western dishes.
