I decided to travel to Guilin and Yangshou with my grandparents who booked their travel with a travel agent in Beijing. My grandparents stayed in a high priced hotel down the street but the hostel staff did not speak English. I was relieved to find the Wada hostel since the Wada Girls spoke very good English and asked all of... More

We stayed in a 4 bed dorm and the room and bathroom was clean and satisfactory. I was impressed with the helpful reception staff, however there was a miscommunication with taxi pick up on our last morning to transfer to the airport. This mix up was handled very professionally, and my prepaid money was electronically refunded into my Chinese bank... More

Close from the railway station (walking distance), friendly stuff (they give me directions for all the places to see, making my stay very easy and comfortable), good food, cold beer, good atmosphere to meet people's and make friends, nice place, cleaness, the bad thing was I couldn't stay longer. I'm feel at home.

We had a private bedroom with four beds and an ensuite bathroom. It was really simple but very clean. The price was incredibly low and great value for us. The Wada girls are so friendly. One met us at the train station and walked us over, we participated in the Dumpling making evening and my daughter had so much fun... More

The "Wada Girls" were extremely friendly - called me by name right away and were available day and night for assistance. Lovely! Cute hostel, a little run down and moldy in spots, but an overall pleasant experience.

Spent two nights in twin room and were quite spontaneous with our trip planning. Luckily, Wada girls are fluent in English and super helpful with planning your stay in Guilin and offer some tours there with a great price. They also have a nice bar which is a bit pricey, you can get nice food from the hostel restaurant or... More

The place is well located if you are more interested in transport to the nearby town, the staff speak perfect English and are very helpful with any request, they even let us use the showers and provided a towel 1 day after the checkout, the have a VPN too. We based ourselves here for one night as we would go for a week to the rice terraces in Tiantouzhai then to Yangshuo. They are located near the train station which is handy. The staff are very friendly and make every effort to help you and give the hostel a communal and fun atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Really beyond the expectations. The Wada Girls made my stay much more comfortable. Besides that, the hostel is well equipped and has a good environment to get the guests together. The hostel also arranges the main tours around the city.
