The Eva Inn is in a perfect location. Located on the river bank, it's very close to the lakes and almost anything you'd want to see in Guilin is well within walking distance. The train station is only a 12CNY taxi ride away. It's opposite The Sheraton and on a street packed with pizza parlours, burger joints, Irish pubs and...

I chose this hotel because of the location and better price than other properties in the area. This is the best side of Guilin just near the River promenade. The problem is the staff hardly can communicate in English. I was the only non-Chinese staying there and this is the high season. The breakfast is very much Chinese and there...

Thankfully we only stayed at Eva Inn for 1 night because it was an awful hotel. We were allocated a room right at the end of the passage on the 6th floor. Carpets are old, room was musty and the view from the room consisted of dirty, run down dilapidated flats. While brushing my teeth the plumbing under the sink...

Location: Easy to find since it's just opp Sheraton Hotel. Walking distance to the lake Shan Hu (杉湖) where the golden and silver pagodas are. Walking distance to ZhengYang pedestrian street where you can shop and eat. Small shops downstairs where you can buy water and instant noodles, etc. At least one shop was open until 11pm. I cannot comment...

We stayed there for 2 nights as part of an organised cycling tour. Hotel is very well located in Guilin opposite the Sheraton hotel and within walking distance of the Guilin lake and park and centre for shopping. The rooms are clean and up to western standards. The breakfast is Asian style but you can get tea/coffee, boiled eggs and...

The Eva Inn is a nice hotel, you can tell its recently renovated and taken care of. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, as are the beds, which made for a comfortable stay. The whole place is clean overall. However it is very difficult to communicate with any of the staff, even the people at the front desk, who'd you...

It's a simple local hotel, just next to an international hotel. Thus please do not expect facilities such as gym, swimming pool, bellboy & international breakfast. Anyway, its location is great for shoppers. The biggest shopping street is just around the corner. So you may shop, eat, drink, massage till late night. Name cards printed with sexy girl pose are...

Stayed one night here as part of an Exodus trip. Our room was at the back, a bit dark and the air conditioning did not work that well. Other members of the group didn't have that problem so may be it was just us. Breakfast up stairs, could eat out side with views of the river. Breakfast ok not fantastic....

Good location near the river. Lobby is bright and clean. Beware the mandatory 20% surcharge on your bill! Luckily, we only booked for one night. The musty, moldy odor (in two separate rooms!) was barely tolerable. Carpets are torn in the hallways; not a big deal but indicative of the poor upkeep of the place.

I had a 4 day stay at this hotel from sep 09-13 2015. The major plus is the location. The hotel is near the riverside road besides Sheraton and easily spottable. I had booked garden view room but was given one corner room near fire exit. Did not like it. I upgraded to river view room for extra 70 CNY....
