Centrally located. Renovated rooms this time. Adjacent to a plethora of eating places of all kind besides Chinese. Indian, Turkish, Philippines, japenese restaurants to name a few. Staff is good. Hotel restaurants are strong in Chinese. The room service menu is limited. Might be because of great restaurants on walking distance.

Nice hotel , though not a 5 star , but you can count 3-4 star hotel ...Rooms are good ...Service is good ...English is poor as usual in China ....but best part is metro is just bellow the hotel and in Guangzhou , metro is the best thing to travel ..From anywhere to anywhere ....

This hotel is expensive and it shows. The place is luxurious with a high end mall right next to it. It has comfortable beds and the design in the lower floors is very modern. However in the upper floors it still had the 70's look about it. The restaurants are decent One thing we did not appreciate is the fact...

This is attached to a shopping mall area. Good variety of food available including USA fast food Pizza Hut and KFC. I need none smoking and request it. the hotel was not a memorable one, meaning it was not terrible but also not great. what i do remember is how awful the food was. i went expecting great cantonese food (there was, but not at the hotel). breakfast was so bad, i ate the salmon sashimi to the horror of colleagues. clean and comfortable rooms, but don't shell...

Overall a great hotel for the business traveler. My host covered expenses so cannot comment on "value" Breakfast buffet was wonderful Recommend having a driver- traffic a mess Gym adequate and allows access with keycard before official opening time Pool closed during "winter" which is a bummer. Rooms clean and facilities very nice. Adjoining "mall" interesting. Walk across the street...

Stayed for 12 nights during canton fair. Hotel very accommodating allowing room access early after an arrival from U.K. Room spacious and clean, could do with a bit of modernising but not an issue. Breakfast good selection from foreign guests. Ate in Italian, world and Chinese restaurants within hotel. Italian was fantastic but world rather disappointing. Cannot fault the hilltop...

Booked two rooms for a night. Prior to arrival, requested for inter-connecting rooms as one room was for my teen kids. Upon arrival, request was not processed and was given two rooms on the same floor but quite close apart so I did not pursue further. Later at night, the aircon failed in my kids' room and all the housekeeping...

We were referred to this hotel by business associates in Guangzhou but we were happy with the room quality and food options at breakfast. Not fond of Chinese breakfast we had a fair bit to choose from.

The Baiyun is a pretty good option, decent rooms with everything you need, good service and reasonably priced. Little things that were frusterating. They make you wear and buy swimming caps, it's not 1940 anymore. I'm bald what's the reason for the cap people? At the gym they include bottled water as much as you can drink. I went to...
