It's always hard decision with a hotel choice. And I think China is one of the most difficult counties in that matter. Fortunately, I found that place. The location is just perfect , close to public transportation and in heart of Zhujiang New Town district. walking distance to museum and opera house. The staff is friendly and always ready to...

On my first ever trip to China, visiting the immense annual trade show, the Canton Fair, in Guangzhou, I stayed at the Leeden for a total of 7 nights- 4 initially and then after a short trip away for 3 more nights. It is clear why the hotel is rated with 4 stars and not 5, as it does not...

This was my first time to Guangzhou but my husbands 5th and his 3rd time at The Leeden Hotel. He originally chose this hotel based on its affiliation with the International Import Export Fair and availability of shuttle buses. Now being familiar with the city's transport network, the shuttle buses are no longer a high priority but The Leeden is...

The hotel is located in a convenient part of Guangzhou, and is great for business travel. There are smoking and non smoking floors-- so make sure you ask for a non smoking room ahead of time. We didn't specify and got a smoking room and later switched to a non smoking room. Huge difference in smell and air quality. There...

It was a pleasant one night stay in the hotel. Free Wi-Fi. The room was clean and quiet however the view was nothing much. The hotel has SPA and swimming pool. SPA was really good despite the fact it's a bit pricy. The water in swimming pool was cold! Or bracing? ;) The staff is polite and ready to help,...

The hotel is impeccable. Updated furnishings, large spacious rooms (we had rooms with a sitting area outside of the bedroom, complete with desk, tv, couch and bar). The food was very good and the location was good. The biggest difficulty was that the staff did not speak English very well, which we expected (obviously erroneously) given the business like feel...

Really nice hotel, good location, good breakfast, but not a good night's sleep because of the lifts (elevators). Every floor the lift stops at - it makes a loud bing bong. You don't just hear the bing bong when the lift stops at your floor, you hear it about 5 floors above and below, even with the bedroom door shut...

We can't fault this hotel. They offer unlimited free water, the beds are comfy, the mini-bar is free (admittedly not hugely stocked but enough to get you through) and the room we had was spotless, had perfect water pressure and was quiet and peaceful. The staff here are really lovely. We can't comment on the food as we didn't eat...

Nice hotel, good sized rooms. At the check in they noticed from my passport that my birthday was next week and gave me a small gift of chocolates (imported). Only there for one night, good location but rooms starting to look a bit tired already. Wouldn't stop me from staying again but not top class like many hotels in same...
