we went to this hotel when we were looking for accommodation options. This is a good hotel with big, nice and clean rooms. Two more plus points for this hotel are its vicinity to corniche area and one of the big malls 'Al Shate Mall' in that area. Wi-Fi connectivity was also good.
A few things which I didn't like is it doesn't have a kitchenette and no ventilation in the rooms.

The hotel location is very good, nearby many malls & restaurants. The AC adjustment was very difficult, I coudn't sleep. there was very bad smell I guess was coming from the bathroom. The parking area is big but not shaded.

I spent 9 nights here on a business trip and found the room to be very comfortable and spacious. Room was clean and well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom nice size and very good walk in shower. No problems with AC. Room was quiet despite being on the meeting road and I heard no sound. Staff were very polite and friendly and the manager very helpful. Large supermarket only 5 minutes walk down the road. Breakfast was adequate enough and the hotel does have a menu to choose from. Would return to this hotel.

The Wather (or Watheer) hotel was adverstised on Booking.com as having wi-fi in the room. I got there and found that the wi-fi didn't work. I called the front desk and they said "oh no, it never works in the rooms - you have to come down and use it in the lobby". As a business traveler this was unacceptable. (BTW, as an I.T. professional I could see that it was just a configuration problem with their router.)
Other problems were: - Tiny desk and no proper chair for sitting at the desk - Tiny, cramped bathroom - Toilet leaked all over the floor when flushed - If I turned off the A/C, the room quickly began to stink of sewer gas - TV not in the bedroom
There were some pros: - Nice big (42 - 46") LCD TV with huge number of channels - Nice big bed - Kitchen - Reasonable price - Decen free hot breakfast - Nice

Better quality standard saudi furnished apartment, but dont expect it to be any star graded. No hair dryer, no washing machine, no room service. Bathroom are so small. Best part is clean beds. make your choice wisely. Tip: bring ur own soaps and liquids... you get wifi.. but slow.. something is better than nothing
