I stayed in Novotel for two nights during my last Business trip to Dammam.
Location: Poor Location Far from everything
The Hotel: The Hotel was very lovely Modern, and the staff were so Helpfull and attended to my every need.
I would like to thank the gents in the reception they made my life easy as I was responsible for a group of 5 and they supported meal the way
the room: was clean and beautiful although it was a smoking room it didn't smell like one the beds were soft
the food nothing special
they have a cafe with shisha downstairs which made me stay in the hotel all the stay

This hotel is a bit out of town in Dammam and is primarily a business hotel and for those with there own car.
However traveller's can use it with a bit of patience as the public bus E5 does stop right out the front but you need a bus card as buses do not take cash.
This hotel is good though if you are catching a train from Dammam as it is very close to the railway station.
Hotel rooms are a bit worn in places and the hot water has been out for a long period of time but on the positive side the breakfast is good and the lobby is very nicely presented.
Hotel has a nice pool which we were told was for men only but after a few more enquiries it seemed women could swim after all so no problem.
Overall pretty good.

This is the last time I would stay at the hotel despite the fact that i stayed at this hotel several times before. For sure the Receptionist was the main reason for this awful experience due to her lack of experience as she charged me extra on my credit card without asking although at the check-out she told me that there are no further payments to settle and till date i didnt receive back the extra amount although the hotel promised to settle the same within the next couple of days. The room was not ready when i arrived at 2pm and the reason was that as per Hotel policy rooms will be ready by 3pm!!!!!!!!! She didnt notify me that the Breakfast Buffet is closed due to COVID-19 and had to discover the same the next morning!!!! The hotel offered ala carte breakfast yet the quality of food was not at all worth the money spent it would have been better to have breakfast outside. The furniture inside the room is very old and need in depth repair / furniture change. For sure i will not stay at this hotel again.

1) The reception was bad service.
2) The reception was laying on his name and there is no tag names for the staff.
3) The room was not cleaned the bed cover wasn’t changed from the previous stayed.
4) The room service i had to call 4 times to request a water and they took one hour and twenty minutes to have it.

No cleanliness, no hot water for both nights, WiFi is bad, food below average. The non-smoking room was smelling cigarettes and had a hole in sofa. They informed about absence of hot water only after paying on check in. They didn’t show any regret and didn’t even care to check later with us. On a complaint The manager didn’t turn up but asked us to visit him in his cabin and never shown any apologies or regret. They don’t understand hospitality. Highly not recommended.
Accor group / Novotel need to fix this properly on very high priority.

I recently stayed at Novotel El Dammam and had a mixed experience. The hotel's calming ambiance and friendly staff, particularly Hashem at the reception, were highlights. However, there were drawbacks, including a weak internet signal, small rooms, and cleanliness issues with in-room amenities. While I didn't expect luxury treatment, basic cleanliness and better internet are essential. I hope the hotel addresses these issues for future guests

Yes, they have an indoor pool + Sauna + Jakuzzi and gym as well. pool is not that big but the water temps are nice and cool after a hot day in Dammam.
