The best thing I can say about the hotel was that is next to the interesting " spaceship" building. Old Soviet style hotel. Tiny bathroom with weird shower. Breakfast/dining room was decorated by someone who may have done too many drugs back in the 60's. Okay for one night. Really needs an update.

Of all the places we stayed this easily was my favourite. The building was stunning from the mosaic outside to the dinning room with tapestry / woven carpets I the wall and the wood carving in the dining room area We arrived at 6 am and they allowed us to check into our junior suite. The suite was huge with... More

Dated. Surreal. Time machine return to another era. Tiny bathrooms with weird showers that wet the entire bathroom floor. A bit warn out. Minimalist Soviet. Construction site view. Restaurant out of a grade B movie. Best thing was its proximity to the "Spaceship". Bottom sheets didn't cover the entire mattress. Adequate WiFi. Below average breakfasts. No toast. Cold pancakes

Having stayed in a standard and in a suite room, the suite looked wonderful, well equipped. The standard room was also well equipped. The objective international standard is 3 to 4 stars. Furniture gives a feeling or well rationalized cost awareness. This affects the complete hotel atmosphere. Service is well trained on the job. Friendly and helpful. Convenience as a... More

Unfortunately the hotel was part of our tour with Go Russia. A small fridge with one bottle of complimentary water, When I asked for another bottle, it never came. The single beds are like toy beds, we had just come of an overnight train and those beds were better than the hotels, but not much. We had a cloudy day... More

Basically, a convenient place for 1- or 2- or 3- day excursion in Veliky Novgorod, ancient capital of Russia. Novgorod is situated between Saint-Petersburg and Moscow, closer to Piter. This charming town is not so large and you will not be tired to observe its sightseeing for a day or two. Moreover, there will be left some other places to... More

Stayed here for one night as part of an organised tour of Russia in July 2014. As TLP-KUMAR states below, this is really just an overnight point between St. Petersburg and Moscow. We were given a twin room on the 1st floor. It was a relatively small room, with two twin beds, a small TV, a fridge (thanks goodness as... More

Veliky Novgorod is a charming old town midway en route the Moscow-St.Petersburg rail line, which is a major reason tourists visiting those metro cities also stop off to see a bit of rural old Russia. Hence there is not a lot of choice in Hotels to stay in this town, & group tours usually are put up in this Soviet-era... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night with a tour group. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel included in out tour. It was ok. Free WIFI but doesnt work in all the rooms but good in lobby and second floor. The rooms were clean and basic. Walking 10 minutes from Kremlin. All in all and ok hotel.
