This was my first visit - for business - to Moscow. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon, and the hotel's proximity to Red Square and the Kremlin gave me plenty of time to play tourist. Typical Ritz Carlton service, quality and amenities. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Stayed at the Ritz Carlton for a 3 week stay. Overall, it is a nice business hotel though I do think there could be some improvements. Pros: - Very nice, big rooms, but a bit dated. - Good options on the full buffet breakfast though the same exact menu gets old after one week let alone three weeks. Changing up...

Despite a very good location and interesting architectural solution, I do not consider Ritz Carlton Moscow to be at an appropriate level for the Ritz Carlton hotel group. I was not very pleased with the cleaning of the room. I had to change several times the electronic keys, because the keys refused to work in the elevator and in the...

The hotel is well situated in Tverskaya Street and is very close to the Red Square and its attractions. This part of the street is quite busy, with Moscovites hurriedly walking but once you enter the hotel, it is like you are in a different world. The staff are very courteous and helpful, and greet you with their best smiles...

I used to stay here often on business. I was unhappy with the crowd and service so moved to a different hotel. Decided to try again. So guest level has improved but service still lacks compared to other 5 star hotels in moscow. Room not cleaned properly repeatedly. Wifi in guest room doesn't work well and often no place in...

We were in Moscow for 4 days prior to a Baltic cruise. We had two club floor rooms. The rooms are quite spacious, similar or better than their properties in the US, and as other reviewers have noted very spacious bathrooms, comfortable beds, well decorated, plush. We arrived on an overnight flight from the states and arrived at the hotel...

I travel regularly on business to Moscow, and given the choice I will always check in to the Ritz Carlton. The location, a stone's throw from Red Square, is unbeatable, and unusually for Moscow there is also parking on site. The entrance to the metro station is on the same block. Rooms are large, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean and...

An excellent hotel by any definition, International class 5 Star, well and conveniently situated in the centre of Moscow close to the Kremlin and Red Square. Friendly and efficient staff in all departments with a good command of English. Comfortable bedroom with excellent bathroom and amenities. Good security.

We stayed in the Ritz in March during our 3 day touristic trip to Moscow. The pros of the hotel: 1-Locations is perfect. A few minutes walking to the Kremlin, the GUM shopping mall, Bolshoi, Cafe Pushkin... 2-Rooms: Reasonable size, with attention to detail. Bathrooms are marble with underfloor heating which is pampering on cold Moscow days. Very comfortable beds...

The Ritz Carlton is in an impressive building in an impressive location. It’s not the best hotel I have stayed in but is definitely top tier. Following the devaluation and current economy crisis the rate was very reasonable indeed @ ~ £100/night. That’s very good value for money. Plusses were: - Staff were fantastic, excellent English and helpful smiling staff...

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighbourhood Profile
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
