Originally I booked a room for 10 days at this hotel but I cut short my stay there to only 3 days due to the poor conditions of the hotel. There were two main factors that played role in choosing the hotel -- one being the location and its proximity to the Metro stop Sportivnaya (Спортивная) and second the more... More

Stayed for 3 nights Oct 2013. I'd read reports that the hotel rooms were hot during the summer but thought as the temperature was minus 2 in October it would be fine - it was still hot (the walls were warm). After leaving the window open during the day it got to a better temperature for night time. The problem... More

We stayed at the Yunost from 9th - 20th August 2013. We chose the hotel, despite its poor reviews, for it's proximity to the Luzhniki Stadium where we attending the World Athletics Championships. It really couldn't have been more convenient. It is only a 5 minute, traffic free, walk. And on the days we didn't have two sessions of athletics... More

We stayed at the Yunost hotel in Moscow as we were attending the Rugby 7's world cup Tournament held at the end of June. We were a group of 10. The hotel is definitely still in the cold war age !! There is no air conditioning - and it was BOILING HOT. We were not allowed to enjoy our own... More

We booked this hotel due to its close proximity to the stadium. We were quite a large group attending the Rugby World Cup 7s. A group of us came to Moscow to attend the Rugby World Cup 7s to be held at the Luzhniki Stadium. Staying in Khamovniki

Neighbourhood Profile
Khamovniki
Khamovniki could be considered a city of its own – here it’s possible to find some of Moscow’s most important cultural institutions such as the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Novodevichy Convent and Trubetskikh Estate, great sport locations such as Luzhniki stadium and aqua complex, and long and beautiful Luzhniki embankment. Pick your preferred form of transport to explore the area – bicycle or river cruise during the summer and taxi in winter as many of the great places are situated beyond a short walk.
