I'm an American who recently stayed at this hotel with a colleague. The hotel is basic, but functional, and it was at our price point. One positive was the breakfast, which was simple, but filling. It consisted daily of Russian porridge (kasha), sausage (both a type of salami and a Russian sausage that is similar to a high-quality hot dog),... More

I initially had a wonderful stay at Ozerkovskaya Hotel. This hotel is simple, but provides everything you need for a comfortable vacation. It is not, however, a boutique hotel (as advertised). Breakfast is included and served until 11:00. The hotel is in close proximity to both trendy and traditional restaurants of all price ranges. The blonde lady who worked mornings... More

Located in a large courtyard just a few steps away from the Garden Ring (and 6 minutes walk from Paveletsky railway/Metro stations), the hotel is old-fashioned but by no means shabby. Everything's new and in perfect working order. Spacious bathtub, shiny bathroom facilities, comfy bed and serious wardrobe - just what you need for a week's stay in your standard... More

My wife, daughter and I have just spent four nights at this hotel, it was a lovely basic hotel. The Hotel was very very clean, the room we stopped in had a massive bathroom with a shower and bath. There was a entrance hall , and two further bedrooms with a massive master bed, ( the second bedroom I think... More

We stayed 3 nights at Ozerkovskaya hotel. On the good side, the hotel is really well located if you fly into Domededovo airport as it is 5minute walking distance from the Paveletskaya train station. The hotel is 20-25 min walk to the Kremlin and is also quite close to a number of bars and restaurants. The hotel is also in... More

We stayed two days in this hotel. I would say this hotel has no charm but it's clean and not very far from the center of Moscow. The bathroom was allright. The room was quiet and the bed was huge. I think it's a good solution if you have to stay in Moscow. On the other hand, the waiter at... More

Staying in Zamoskvorechye

Neighbourhood Profile
Zamoskvorechye
It wouldn’t be a mistake to call Pyatnitskaya street the main axis of this neighborhood – turn one direction and you’ll find the Tretyakov Gallery in Lavrushinsky Lane, turn another – a hip Scandinavian restaurant. Old churches now embrace contemporary life with style and grace. Going to Zamoskvorechye is like visiting during the times when it was a medieval Russian quarter, but with a modern twist of 20th century buildings pushing themselves into the 21st century with new businesses opening weekly. Stroll down Pyatnitskaya to taste dozens of global cuisines – from Ukrainian and Georgian to Thai and American.
