Reasonable rates for Moscow. 20 minutes from Red square, 45 from airport by taxi. Wi fi works great. Rooms are old fashioned and smelly a bit. I could not find safe in room. Fitness is poor, big place with old equipment. Breakfast is like ok for two nights. In total I can not feel even three star.

Hotel Proton is ok if you are looking for a place to sleep not far from the exhibition center (they have a free shuttle). Standard Rooms are old fashioned and a bit smelly (because they are old). Breakfast is ok, the inside restaurant offers also ok meals. Considering everything I would say this hotel is mediocre forget 4 stars, even...

Stayed here last year, and although in a good place and easy to get to, we managed to have a camera 'disappear' from inside the locked room whilst we were out for dinner on the last night. Reception weren't interested and were probably in on the act. Police aren't worth contacting either. Just be careful and leave nothing in the...

There are good and bad things about this hotel. The room itself is actually very good - the bed is comfortable, everything is functional and clean. Wi-Fi all around the hotel. The breakfast is reasonable. The location is, however, in the middle of nowhere - yes, in Moscow it's possible! it takes 10 minutes by taxi to the closest metro...

Stayed in hotel Proton for 3 nights. Reasonable prices per normal room for the hotel situated not so far away from the center. Shuttle bus every hour to the metro station. Shuttle bus every morning to the exhibition place in the center (only when there is a big exhibition events). It takes less than 15 minutes to get there (krasnopresenskaya...

Just left Moscow and a 7 night stay at the Proton. I was in town for work and actually spent very little time in the hotel. I had a standard room which was pretty spacious and had all the usual facilities. It's all a bit dated but everything works and is spotlessly clean. I could have done with a few...

The staff at reception were helpful and had a good working knowledge of English. Wi Fi was good all over the Hotel and there was...

i stayed there for 1 week and i was really satisfied.. the location is perfect for the exhibtion center --> if you use the shuttle bus offered from the hotel. Every morning @ 9.30am and every evening @ 6.30pm the bus (or 2 busses) is doing the transport to the expo and back to the hotel. I was only 1...

My stay in Proton Business hotel was very good: nice and big rooms with all comforts, good structure, services and staff. Not so good the restaurant...if you are not russian, do not try the salads! A good hotel for a short business trip.

Did not enjoy my stay here. I had a sore back after 1 night in the bed, access to Metro is a challenge, food was very marginal, and the internet access is flaky. But is was cheap, which is why I stayed here, so I guess you get what you par for!

Thank John P
