Hotel National really does tick all the boxes, in superlative style. Centrally situated, right opposite the Kremlin walls and just 5 minutes' walk from Red Square, it is a stunning and sumptuously furnished Art Nouveau building, with a panoramic view of the Kremlin from the...More

Nice and clean rooms, good service and polite staff. The only thing is a design of rooms and halls in traditional Russian way with carpets and old-style furniture. It is not like we didn’t expect it seeing the pictures but it feels a bit strange...More
This hotel is gorgeous - if you like quaint and historical buildings. It is not modern.

Fantastic experience at the Hotel National! Staff were helpful and friendly. Incredible location and excellent value for money with spectacular views of Red Square - particularly from the breakfast room. Historical building and very comfortable bed inclusive of pillow menu. Would definitely stay again!
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or
Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.

I didn’t see any babies around but the rooms are big and have lots of space. The setting of the hotel is the best in Moscow, but very difficult to cross the streets as you have to go underground each time
