This hotel is greatly situated in the heart of Moscow, and the Red Square is only 15 min walk. Price is reasonable for Moscow, the rooms are clean, modern equipment, staff is very pleasant and always quick to respond to your queries. I also appreciated the possibility to have an extra hour to check out from the official 12.00. The...

Moscow is a hectic city which demands full concentration for the non Russian speaker as everything is written not only in a foreign language but a foreign alphabet. To find your way around the amazing and superb underground you have to be able to be a code breaker. So after a busy day of travel and walking and watching athletics...

Just spent 3 nights staying in this hotel with my Dad for a long weekend. I was recommended this hotel by a Russian colleague and it lived up to expectation. The first big plus point is the location (if you're flying into Domodedovo). This was my first time in Moscow, and arrived not quite as organised and familiar with the...

This was a pleasant surprise. I have visited Moscow already on lots of occasions the last 2 years and was able to get a sample of about 8 different hotels. The Aquamarine is now in my top list for the business traveler. The rooms are spacious with all the amenities you need, a good desk, good bed, excellent matrass, good...

We stayed at the Aquamarine for 4 nights. This is everything you will expect from a 4 stars hotel - great billingual service, modern and clean accomodation etc. The bar/drink service is pricy though. The hotel is a nice business neighourhood of Moscow. A 10-15 minutes will get you to Novokuznetskaya Metro (on the green line 25 minutes walk will...

The Aquamarine is a largely business hotel in a quiet residential/business area. 20 minutes walk from Red Square, but also the nearest metro station which means you will (as we did) have a bit of a walk when you come back to the hotel, unless of course you take a taxi. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful...

I spent just two days in this hotel, but I really appreciated the professionalism of the staff at the reception. The lady spoke excellent English and has solved a minor setback in the reservation in a few minutes. The hotel is of excellent quality and a 15-20 minute walk from Red Square and 15-20 minutes walk from the metro station...

They have this policy of guaranteeing your stay by credit card before letting you into your room. It's quite common these days, but I am always slightly aggravated by it. It then transpires that the mini-bar, the bar, room-service, must all be paid on the spot. A minor inconvenience in my case, but it gave me occasion for annoyance. Why...

The public areas of the hotel are very modern. The bar area is fairly cool, but quiet at night. The restaurant is good and breakfast is good with a wide range of western and asian options. Check in was quick and location of hotel is easy to find despite being off the beaten path a bit. Rooms are large enough and well equipped. Staying in Zamoskvorechye

Neighbourhood Profile
Zamoskvorechye
It wouldn’t be a mistake to call Pyatnitskaya street the main axis of this neighborhood – turn one direction and you’ll find the Tretyakov Gallery in Lavrushinsky Lane, turn another – a hip Scandinavian restaurant. Old churches now embrace contemporary life with style and grace. Going to Zamoskvorechye is like visiting during the times when it was a medieval Russian quarter, but with a modern twist of 20th century buildings pushing themselves into the 21st century with new businesses opening weekly. Stroll down Pyatnitskaya to taste dozens of global cuisines – from Ukrainian and Georgian to Thai and American.
