This hotel is an excellent value hotel. An ideal alternative for those on a budget. Only a short walk to the metro. Only four stops from Red Square. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly and courteous although not much English spoken.

We had to stay in Moscow for 4 days and decided to book this hotel because of its location (close to metro station) and price. As a whole, we were satisfied: the room was clean, the shared bathroom was also clean (though they accidentally left a cleaning cloth in the bathroom the first day we checked in, but the second...

We were pleasantly surprised by Hotel Moskvich. The room is a good size, beds comfortable and the room had a TV and fridge. This was for an economy twin with shared bathroom. The bathroom was only shared between three rooms as well so this was a massive plus - we've used shared facilities with whole floors elsewhere in Russia! The...

Stayed here 4 nights in October 2008 for the first time. Fifth time in Moscow and the *4 where I had stayed before (overstated) had overpriced itself. Arrived by train from St P and taxi, before 9.00 am and had immediate access to room, no extra charge. It's majorly a residential area. The room was very affordable. One of lowest...
