My first visit in Cluj-Napoca. I have no comparison for Cluj standards...
The room was oke. Nice and spacious. Everything was very clean and available. Unfortunately the neighbors were being very loud until 3.00 am.
The breakfast was good with lots of choices...
Because of our flight cancellation we landed in Paradis for one night and it was very good experience. Service, room and environment very nice. Restaurant - average. We had no chance to check spa but at least had a look and it looks very nice.
To say it upfront: this is the only Hotel I know in Cluj.
I stayed for 2 nights and arrive at 3 am in the night. Checking in was prepared and extremely fast which is appreciated at that time.

Hotel is located in a very unlikely place, surrounded by shabby appartement buildings. Once inside, it is tastefully decorated modern hotel with friendly staff. The room was comfortable and clean, only a little dark, the bed excellent. The bathroom is spacious and the soaps, gels...More
Just wanted to give a nod to Hotel Paradis in Cluj. We arrived from Spain with low expectations and therefore pleasantly surprised by what we found. The staff was wonderful, especially Laura. So professional yet down to earth friendly. We also had Superb breakfast offerings,...More

I didn't have breakfast there, but I did have several diners there. The food was generally very good. So I'd imagine the breakfasts are equally good. One thing I was disappointed with in Romania is that they don't make coffee like we do in America. They either have espresso or Sanka instant. If you ask for coffee, ask for American coffee - most places won't know what you're asking for, but some do and will bring you an actual cup of American coffee. On a related note, about a mile from Hotel Paradis there is the Iulius Shopping Mall - they have a food court there that has the best food I've ever seen in a mall.

There was no charge to use the spa while we were there. There is a smallish swimming pool (more of a plunge pool) and a hottub, though the hottub was out while we were there. There is also a sauna and steam room, showers, and an area that appears to be used for massages but we were literally the only people down there for like two hours. There wasn't any in-room information about massages or other spa services, and we didn't ask. But it was very hot while we were in Cluj and we loved the opportunity to chill out in the cool quiet of the spa area.
