Staff at this hotel were young, pleasant enough, but I would suggest a course in service, quality, and cleanliness. We booked a double room some months in advance, arrived at 10pm , and found 2 single beds instead of a double. The toilet seat was broken, the instant hot water unit leaked profusely when operated, hand basin dirty, aircon unit, cable and plug unbelievably grubby. The room generally had an "unclean" appearance. The next morning we asked for a change of room, handing the reception a list of complaints from our first night! The alternative room was a big improvement. However, on several occasions , house keeping staff forgot to leave clean towels, or toilet paper, and one time, the bath mat! Doesn't anyone keep a checklist? Hot breakfast served on a cold plate, doesn't do much for pancakes, and the bacon on the one occasion that I ordered it, was akin to a stiff piece of cardboard, unchewable! Breakfasts were barely passable in my opinion, and generally cold. However, the security guys on the main door were great, and pro active, always ready to call a cab. Front desk staff were always pleasant and obliging. Stayed at this hotel some 5 years previously, and have to say that it hasn't really changed, or improved, as we made similar comments back then about the breakfasts /housekeeping, and not very well trained staff in those areas. The hotel is in a good location, easy to get to the City and shopping malls. Just needs a touch of QSC (Quality, Service,Cleanliness) . Has no "Wow" factor at all.…
An average room in an average hotel in an average filipino city. Nice but aging room where everything worked okay but there only one night in a pinch. Hallways have few sound aborbers like carpet and wall hangings, and doors are not tight, and so sounds reverberate, at least on the main floor. Not much to say. Is okay. Okay?
I have stayed at this hotel for several visits now since about 10 years ago. It was pretty good back then, quite modern, and new. And the location was superb for me! Fast forward to 2019, it has remained the same --- LITERALLY. It has not upgraded at all! The reception staff --- they are the same. The system for registering a guest --- still the same, MANUAL.So, a guest like me who's been a regular there still has to manually write out all his information on the same registration form, down to the name, the contact numbers, everything! The rooms have slightly changed --- they have added a long table to the furniture, which works for me, because I stay there for work. But the bathroom? Still the same! The bidet? Still none! And I have to always ask for a "tabo" in lieu of the missing bidet! The lights? The same. The smell of the room? The same! And when you go down to the only lobby coffee shop, the menu and the furniture, the same! Well, there is one nice thing about it being the same, other than that it's in the same location --- the PRICE is still the same. But then, maybe that's the main reason everything else in this hotel has not changed --- there is NO EXTRA MONEY left to upgrade this hotel to something a bit better. But hey, if you just need a place to sleep in while you're in Iloilo, and cheap, and conveniently located, this hotel is for you! Just don't expect it to a hotel operating to today's standards.…
This is a better place to stay.. clean and good service... I decided to transfer hotel during my stay in iloilo. I just checked out from adhara And experienced a huge disappointment. This is my 2nd time in highway 21 and i cant stop comparing. Adhara - expensive / disappointing Highway21 - cheaper / satisfied
This is my go-to place whenever I just need a place to sleep in Iloilo. Nothing Fancy, What's important is - its clean. AC is functioning but avoid a room with noisy AC, there is a hot and cold shower, wifi speed is acceptable. Staff are okay, not as friendly as I expect them to be, knowing that I'm a frequent guest of this hotel. I don't still feel that I'm a valued guest.
This is a cheaper hotel compared to its "sister hotels". This is somehow near in SM City Iloilo. They have WiFi on rooms, cable TV, elevator for one of their buildings. They have a convenience outside, also near with fast food chains and convenience stores. This is where I stay every time I visit Iloilo.
With Boracay closing I was forced to find alternative route to fly to Cebu. Taking Iloilo as my route I decided to stay a night to acquaint myself with the place. If your just staying for a night their annex rooms is value for money. The area is also convenient as starting point for the up and coming IT places as well as the City’s main points. Check in is a breeze, staffs are accommodating and the basic amenities are spot on.
I really do love their beds and rates. Its cheap and the beds are very comfy. We booked a family room. and it seems bigger than the other hotels we tried. The location isn't that hard to find plus theres a convenience store near the hotel which is a plus for us. I bet their food was great even its a bit pricey around 150-200 for a breakfast. Could have left a 4/5 star if you checked the room for any broken stuff first.
A basic hotel that offers you a room for the night at an affordable place. There are no amenities (but they did say there's a gym but I didn't know where it was). There are banks (infront) and eating establishments nearby. Also, during my stay, had an instance of hearing blaring drums at 7:00 am. Its clean (although a colleague shared that he saw five cockroaches but I only saw one ;). There's limited seating capacity at the restaurant, good excuse to share a table with someone. However, internet signal is sparing to practically none existent (forget doing work).
There are a lot of good cheap hotels in Iloilo and this is one of those hotels. Their rooms are reasonably priced, but their rooms are surprisingly ample for my needs whenever I need to stay at iloilo for a night or two.
