Me and my friends decided to unwind over the weekend and Courtyard really make our stay the best weekend staycation. Staff are very hospitable. The breakfast buffet is superb and the place is super cozy. Will definitely be back again. #marriot
The hotel is nice but not that glamorous I must say. We experienced a little inconvenience when we arrived because no one assisted us to put our luggage in the scanner but we thought that maybe they are short staffed because of the pandemic so not a big deal. Another thing is that since we are a group, we requested to be on the same floor. We have 6 rooms in total and no available clean room that time so we have to wait. We arrived in the hotel past 3 so maybe they are still cleaning it. Luckily, 1 room is available so we can put first all our luggage there. We agreed to wait but it took time for other rooms to be finished and when we asked for follow up it seems like it’s our fault that we have just requested for same floor upon arrival so we don’t have any right to be mad. That’s how we felt when we do follow up. To be clear, I’m not complaining on how they handled it but this is just an honest feedback that your service can still be improved. Our arrival may not be a good experience for us but we are still happy for the rest of our stay because of the smiles from the service people which we can be seen even with their masks on. I cannot remember her name (Yuri or Yumi) but the trainee who greets us every morning when we go to breakfast really brights up our day. Our favorite station is the omelette station wherein you can request to Lynette (Chef) whichever type of omelette you like and it’s delicious! Other staff in the breakfast buffet are very attentive and helpful too☺️ When it comes to the room, even though we are a little messy, housekeeping really does their job! We are always outside so we barely see them cleaning and we only saw Sherry once so if she’s the one who’s cleaning our room, a big thanks for your patience! Lastly, the front desk and telephone operators were very helpful when it comes to our requests and special mention to the staff who called us for our requested wake up call because she’s really energetic 🤣 Can’t attach my video of the room 😢 but thank you to the all people who made our stay wonderful 😊…
We do go here for just a visit of the place for coffee and chit-chat with business with my friends. The place was very cozy and the people are very nice. They are very accommodating and have a good communication skills.
I’ve been staying at Courtyard every time I am in Iloilo and I am writing this review right now at the hotel on my third visit. The last time I was here I spent 2 weeks. I really don’t have any complaints except the fact that the room walls are paper thin. I work at night and usually sleep in the morning and I can hear all kinds of noise coming from the other rooms, the hallways, the elevator, the floor above, and even the traffic below. I was so frustrated that I had to call several times one time to ask if they can clean the other rooms quietly because even cleaning the rooms sounds like construction happening. I did get an apology cake but that wouldn’t really get me back the sleep times I lost. Three days ago when I arrived I had a similar incident and this time its because the hotel is fully booked and the noise I heard from my room is purely just other people in their room just doing normal stuff. At this point I am just going to find a different hotel the next time I’m in Iloilo because I don’t think they can and will fix this.…
I had already booked a pickup transportation from the airport to the hotel. By the time we arrived at the hotel it was about 7:30 am and I thought we wouldn't be able to check in early. They had my bags and ready to show us our room. I was really surprised ! We stayed three nights and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had many options. One evening we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. Apparently, it was being used for a party and we was directed to the lounge/bar to dine in. It was nice and cozy atmosphere. The crispy pata was delicious. We had no complaints about this place. Within walking distance to the Festive Walk was great.
We arrived before 11 am. Front desk staff who assisted me was nice. She allow me for an early check in. The pillow and the bed is comfortable but smells old. The TV has no picture, only sounds. Around 2pm, we went to the ground floor to get get coffee. We are sitting and there’s 4 waitstaff buy no one assisted until we called them. During breakfast on the next day, i’m the one removing used plates in our table. I think f&b manager should have a proper training also in order to have good service for f&b.
Very clean, comfortable hotel and easy access to the Metro. Location is great with walking distance to so many restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff from Reception & pool area. Special shout to Ms Chriza for her great effort and assistance during our stay. The only issue i had as a Bonvoy member was not given a discount to their in house restaurant. Nonetheless, the place is highly recommended.
The hotel That loves to say NO to customers. After being a loyal bonvoy member for years, I recommend avoiding this hotel if you want a stress free Stay. 1) No to free upgrade 2) No, lounge is closed indefinitely 3) No, you cannot Go into the previous lounge area even if you order food from the restaurants 4) No you cannot use the business Center 5) No the bathroom shower door does not work properly 6) No, We Don’t Need to inform you if items delivered for you. You have to pick it up without knowing there’s something there. 7) no, We wont Go back to clean your Room in the afternoon if you missed our morning rounds 8) Oh No, the lobby reception has water dripping in spite of the warm Weather. Its the aircon and Its been that way for several months at least. Kudos to friendly, polite and very helpful security and concierge staff. Its not all that bad but NO, I Will not recommend staying over if you value a stress free Stay.…
unfortunately we stayed during the pandemic so we were not able to experience the hotel in all its capacity… however we still appreciate the staff’s excellent services with the minimal interaction we had. we were supposed to stay in a ‘mountain’ resort for our anniversary but sadly the resort closed on our second day due to the heightened pandemic alert level. the hubby & me is still so not keen in going home hence we ended up spending our remaining two days at Marriott Iloilo. room are a little bit smaller than some of the Marriott hotels we stayed in before but cozy enough to be comfortable. the food selection - though minimal than usual - were still great. I would surely return when things are back to normal just to experience the hotel in it’s full capacity.
I reserved at this favorite hotel of mine after one and a half year of lockdown. It was just after a big storm hit the city of Iloilo. I was glad to have been upgraded to a junior suite here. Although there was massive electricity brownout, the hotel was not affected. As of these, the first day was overbooked, since the locals rushed to the hotel. The service was still good and I enjoyed my stay.
