Detailed Reviews
The hotel is situated in the quiet 11th street, a 5 min walk from the main street, restaurants, etc...the rooms are very good for the price. The towels and sheets were clean. There is also a nice little garden area inside, and the WiFi connection is good. Excellent for little budgets.

Their room rates are truly unbeatable on this side of the city, but I had a problem with bed bugs! Please do something about it, though the rooms appeared clean and all, I still woke up with the discomfort because of those mites... I took home with me physical remembrance of the place, in the form of scar marks, not really life- changing, but this imply serious hygienic issues on the part of the hotel.

Nearby place is not much to see. This pension house is in the local Street on the way going to pension house there are lots of dogs barking and following you around so you gotta be very careful while going out our coming in. Rooms are okay but I saw cockroaches and insects in the room while sleeping @night. Ang the guys from the reception says lemme know if you see again I'll kick it out. Good if you're on budget travel.

I reported immediately what happened to my luggage to the concierge and she called the housekeeping staff. All of the staff came and denied it defensively.
My company booked me here for 2 days and 2 nights and I chose a room near the reception thinking that my things will be much safer there when I'm away. After I got back from work, there it was, the combination lock looked like it was forced open by a screw driver. Good thing I've brought all my gadgets and valuables with me so nothing was stolen.
There are many other affordable hotels or pension houses near the area. Please do not choose this one.

We had a terrible experience at Pension Bacolod. We had to make our own beds because the staff couldn't be bothered and handed us the sheets. We found 2 dead cockroaches under the bed. During the night we had a mouse crawling over us. We reported the problem to reception but they didn't care and they laughed and then took a further 20 minutes to come and look at the room. They then sprayed the room with an intoxicating spray so we couldn't sleep in that room & requested a room change but the only room they had available was a single bed. We asked for an extra bed but they declined. The staff were very noisy through out the night. The following morning we complained to the management but he didn't care and charged us full price for a single bed and there was no apology. Also when using wifi in the restaurant there were cockroaches running around.

For only 500 pesos, we had a double with aircon, but you also get nothing else. The shower wasn't working and you don't have a window.

The room is very okay. I rent here by the weekends since I am attending some classes. It's comfortable and all except when I go to the comfort room which is the main challenge everytime I stay. They have numerous shower and comfort rooms in the building but most of these are either clogged, smells or have roaches in it. I have to check every corner before I get inside. Almost always, I get one or two tries before I find a decent comfort/bath room to use.

I had the worst experience at this pension house. I went to Bacolod for a business meeting. I checked out @ L'fisher hotel by 12 noon and I went there only to have my bag left as I'm leaving for Cebu by 11 pm. The receptionist is not friendly at all!! She was so mean and arrogant was it bcoz I was only in jeans, shirts and slippers that she had that "can't afford" look on me... When she gave me a key to my room I was surprised when I opened it and saw someone in there so I asked the the lady in the reception if the rooms are all safe and she said yes as I had w/ me my laptop, digicam and credit cards. I roamed around Panaad leaving my bag in the pension house. When I checked out and had gone to Cebu I realized my digicam is no longer in my bag!! It was stolen. Not a safe place to stay!!
