The guestrooms are clean, though some could use refurbishment and upgraded TV units. The staff members are friendly and helpful, especially Clyde from the breakfast buffet, who consistently anticipated our needs. The gym is nice and well-maintained, despite having limited equipment; we found it satisfactory. The gym instructor was very supportive as well. We celebrated NYE at the rooftop bar and had a blast. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciate all the staff for their efforts.

This is an old hotel although it does appear to be properly maintained. One thing I noticed in my several stays here whenever I'm on a business trip to Bacolod City is that there are guestrooms that have been renovated most recently, judging by the appearance of the room. Then there are rooms that stayed as is and just maintained regularly. I'd find myself lucky to be booked in a renovated guestrooms. Can't say the same when I chance upon an old room.

My experiences in an old guestroom: aircon is not in tip-top shape (I'd be lucky if it actually cools the room), watercloset is not functioning (one instance, I had to fix the float-valve myself so I can get water to fill the tank for my use), shower heater is difficult to mix and there is a distinct smell in the room and the toilet that would tell you it's old.

I would commend the service though and they provide a modest buffet breakfast, good enough to take me back to Manila after an overnight business sortie.

This is a good hotel with a good standard of food and rooms
It is expensive to be in Bacolod

The hotel is, in some ways, becoming a victim of its own success. They expanded the bar and reduced the restaurant space - consequently, the free breakfast is a crowded affair requiring a lot of navigation to gather up food and make it back to your table. We tried Room Service one night and it was not good - it took two trips to bring the food, which was no longer even warm, and the quality was uninspiring. Worst of all... another night we simply ordered out and went to fetch the Food Panda delivery at the backside of the hotel. Surprise... if the hotel finds you doing this you are charged a "corkage fee" for bringing in outside food. A guard made us aware of this at the time of delivery and when checking out I was presented with 120php bill for the fee (which I paid). I complained that the policy was misguided in light of their Room Service deficiencies, that it was inconsistent as it was perfectly common for people to be seen bringing in Bong-Bong, 711 and Starbucks... and that it was very customer unfriendly. But this is the Philippines, so undoing policy protocols is not possible. With other venues now available in Bacolod I will not be returning to L'Fisher Hotel.

This has been my go-to hotel since 2013 and I can say that I am always at home every time I check in here.

My recent stay was during the holidays from December 29, 2023 to January 4, 2024.

What I notice different from the previous stays were the staffs are more proactive and very customer-service oriented and would greet you when they see you at the lobby. These minor touch is very well appreciated by guests.

The front desk were very helpful and efficient. The housekeeping were always on their foot everytime I need them. The bellman were also warm everytime they greeted us at the lobby.

The hotel room I stayed was great although a bit dated. Aircon was good and powerful. The bathroom was also great, not slippery, no moldy areas.

The breakfast buffet is great as well. Staffs at Ripples restaurant were up on their feet and is very efficient in assisting guests.

Overall, I had a great stay and would still stay here when I’m in Bacolod.

It's pretty old. Don't let the photos fool you. This time I stayed at a special cheap rate, which is fine, but I would never stay at a normal rate. First of all, the carpet in my room seemed damp, so tired that I couldn't tell if I'd cleaned it. You can never walk barefoot. The air conditioning was old, and the noise of the fans kept me awake. It's as if I've been on a plane. In addition, there is a motor sound that periodically changes the air flow, which is also noisy. At night, the binge vibrations on the floor can be heard, and the noise outside is noisy (the windows are not soundproof). Pool but probably rainwater. The staff doesn't feel particularly good about the service and everything is normal. Four stars is a mystery. The room had a bathtub, but the bathtub did not hold water. I recommend a new two-star hotel etc. over a deserted four-star hotel. You cannot exchange Japanese yen at the front desk. There is a 24-hour ATM machine in front of the nearby Seda Hotel. I think Seda Hotel is better if you don't stick to the bathtub. Only breakfast was delicious. It was buffet style, but the menu was different every day.

My daugther booked me, her son, and her siblings two rooms for my birthday. She paid for the rooms in advanced through booking.com and it was a month before today. I was passing by the hotel yesterday and asked if we could have connecting rooms if possible but they couldn't find the booking anywhere. My daugther said she even messaged the property for it in advance but no response either. Now that we're checking in they said that they still cannot find the reservation after some time, they said the rooms will be ready by 2pm. However, when we went back to collect the keys, only one room is ready and the other one is 2 rooms further than our room which was not a problem but the issue is that room isn't ready either. What a disappointing experience knowing that this hotel was one of the best before. I guess it's better to book the other hotels nowadays than this one, it seems like they've lost their eagerness for customer service and satisfaction.

From the moment you walk into this expired hotel that needs major refurbished facilities badly you feel not wanted. Staff are rude and you have to really try to engage them to get anything out of them. Everything needs to be replaced I don’t know why this is ranked number 3 in Bacolod because there are better places here perhaps people rating this are living in the past. Can you imagine buying a coffee across the road and being told to pay 120 pesos when I walked in as a service charge because I didn’t buy there disgusting brewed 1970s coffee. The Balcony is littered with rats nests and dirt hasn’t been cleaned in years. The staff lack real customer service training. Management needs to wake up and read the feedback.

We booked a super deluxe double room for 3 nights and it wasn’t as it was in the pictures. The hotel’s grand lobby is a fake facade to an old rundown hotel. It’s a joke that they call it the best hotel in Bacolod as I think it’s now just one of the budget hotels in the area. Carpet is really old and and dusty. We complained about our aircon and the grimey toilet and asked for a better room since we paid a lot of money but the staff didn’t really say anything. We were also pressured to buy 2 bottles of water which cost 230 pesos! just because the staff didn’t understand British English. When we refused to buy it, they said that we have to as they have already charged it to our room. We felt like we were scammed. Not also respecting the sign outside our room, the staff knocked on our door to scam us with the water and gladly held the door wide open even though I was in my knickers at the time. Such a very unpleasant stay. I hugely don’t recommend and vow to never go back again!

The room is fine, was clean and well-maintained but could use an upgrade. Would have preferred a king-size bed, but got two full-size beds, which was not too bad. It came in handy because we had a couples massage from the spa on the 4th floor. The staff members are attentive and responsive to requests for service/assistance. The Masskara festival happened on the street where the hotel is located. It was only a short walk to the capitol building and most restaurants. The buffet breakfast was loaded with local and imported food offerings, with plenty of fruits.

is there car rental services???? if so how much does it cost per day?

Yes there is one now in Bacolod the name is MECA-J ; it costs us 75$ / day then we had to full tank afterwards. I think you need to know what your itinerary is, otherwise the renting of the car is not worth it, just like us most of the days the car was just in the parking because we stayed in the city and near the mall so everything was walking distance. Then later on we always use grab which was quite efficient!
