Our stay was not quite as bad as the rest of the reviews are, we stayed there for a week with my family (3 of us, two adults and one two-year-old child) even though at first we were given a rough room with no windows, I did not hesitate to make a request if they can give us a better room. They were actually quite helpful and assisted us all the way. I have no issues with the receptionists and the workers were nice and respectful towards us. We had no issues as well with the cleanliness of the place as they cleaned up our room when we do make a request. I think one of a few minor blunders I have is that there is no laundry service on-site and yes the aircon needs some major cleaning. Other than that, this hotel is suitable for a quick stay and also very close to SM and nearby areas where you don't need to get a taxi. If you are working remotely, the internet connection is somewhat intermittent and you may have to bring your own mobile connection that is higher than expected. Otherwise, I will give this hotel an honest review of an okay stay as it was for others.

Central location good, proximity to SM Mall.
Spacious room (415) simple furnishings and old but practical. Bathroom also old standard, weak water jet, aircondition very loud and cools poorly, the set room temperature is unfortunately not reached, it remains warm.
Breakfast is simple, extras (bacon instead of pork/corizo) are offered at an extra cost. There is little flexibility for hotel guests. The restaurant therefore also not visited.
Conclusion: for 1-2 days short stay ok, otherwise only standard.

This hotel is great for people who loves the night life. Nightlife here starts as early as 6pm and lasts until the wee hours the next day. There are several places where you can go from this hotel - restaurants, malls, videoke bars, bars with live bands and more. The good thing about this hotel is the room where we stayed in was quiet even if there's a party just right downstairs across the alley. The bed is comfy, the bathroom always clean, TV cable works, staffs are friendly, they serve delicious meals. If you want to go on nature tripping, you can go to the port and hop on to one of the boats going to the Guimaras. The craze here is mountain biking, trekking, and water sports activities --- head out to the beach to get some fun under the sun. It's great to choose this hotel for comfort and night life like in Manila and experience an eco-adventure tour by day in Guimaras. It will be nice to go book again in this hotel.

We went as a Family and was Charged because we moved the Bed so our 3 years old won't fall when sleeping. We checked in with 2 beds separated in a family room. Kaya pinagtabi namon to make sure Hindi malalaglag ung Bata. After we checked ouT CHINARGED kami Ng 300 pesos Kasi minoved daw namin ung bed. Inconsiderate na kahit intindihin nalang Kasi may Bata. Napaka suplada pa Ng front desk. Di rin maganda ung Cr kulang SA linis. Ung sahig Ang dumi pa.

This hotel looks like a ghost. They do not respond to emails and all the telephone numbers they publish are not operational. The latest opinions are from 2017 as well as the update of the hotel on the networks. Will it be good care? I'm really about to cancel my reservation because it doesn't give me any security

They told us to check in at 2pm but when we arrived, we waited for 2 hours to official check in. Got inside the room past 4pm. It's not a good experience especially when you've been in a long travel. They could have cancelled the booking if the room is still not available. We've been in multiple hotels and this is the very first time that this happened to us. Never again.

I found this place a decent hotel for what you pay for. We had the premium deluxe room and it was very good, spacious and at the quiet part of the hotel with the view of the newly-built pool which I did not get to try but it does look good. We stayed at a deluxe room on our way back and the only difference is that you have a slightly smaller room and no pool view but it's definitely still ok.
If the street noise bothers you then definitely book for a premium deluxe room. Air conditioning worked well in both rooms.
Bathrooms are also spacious with good water pressure and toiletries provided.
I think this is the closest hotel to SM mall but do have good walking shoes on as you do need to walk a bit to get to the mall part coz this hotel is closer to the grocery entrance.
The staff are very helpful, friendly and pleasant to deal with. The hotel also provided airport transfers so that was very useful and they charge the same rate as what the taxi drivers charge you anyway.
We had breakfast at the restaurant and food is basic and limited but it's tasty and not too expensive and restaurant staff have good customer service and food came out fast, however there are a lot of other food and restaurant options closer to the hotel especially at SM mall.
The only thing that I did not like is when I couldn't find an iron and ironing board and when I asked Housekeeping they told me that these are not provided but they will iron your clothes for you at P25 per piece, I have never come across this before and found it really weird!
I have looked at the other Westown in Mandalagan and I'm so glad I checked the room first before checking in as this is nowhere near as good as the Downtown/San Juan location.

A pleasant stay of 4 nights on our way through Bacolod.
The hotel is well situated for convenience of downtown shopping and transport links.
We had a quiet back room in the south wing, some daytime noise from the extension being built behind. The front rooms are noisy with the jeepniey stops right outside. Room quality is good for the price, promos are available but you have to ask.
The place would be more peaceful if the staff could refrain from shouting in the echoing reception and from the landing above.
The attached Olio Cafe is fair, beware breakfast finishes at 10am, there is no notice to this effect. Food was good, well served.
There are areas of the hotel that could benefit from a good cleaning, notably the outside smoking area of the Olio Cafe and all the glass doors and walls need a proper clean and shine. We appreciate that there is considerable traffic dust but some of the windows were filthy dirty inside and out. Our room window looked out onto a concrete wall, only just discernible through the grime on the glass!
All in all, OK but could easily be better.

Stayed here for 2 nights last July. Got a deluxe triple room for a promotional rate of P 1,400 per night.

Location is good, as the church, the public market, souvenir shops, SM mall and Manokan Country are all within an easy 5 minutes walk. The road it's on however is one way and if you will be taking the jeep, you have to go 1 block to the market to get to Lacson.

Rooms are dimly lit, spacious, and clean. Basic amenities and toiletries are provided. There's a ref and aircon works fine. Bathroom is nice with a glass door shower and enough space to move around.

Staff are polite and helpful in telling you how to get to the tourist spots independently.

Hotel restaurant is a little overpriced and there are better options in the city.

For the price we paid, it's good value for money, considering the good location, quality of rooms and fine service.
