Detailed Reviews
Since there were 5 of us seniors vacationing in Bacolod for 3 days it was important that we stayed in a hotel that’s comfortable. I booked Acacia online and chatted with them about our concerns which they promptly attended to.
Upon arrival we were met pleasantly at the front desk. The girl at the reception Danna even entered the WiFi password into our phones and she proved friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Lobby is wide , two elevators are working. Hotel was renovated in March 2019, so the place looked new. Rooms are wide and we had toiletries in the bathroom but only one roll of tissue so we had to ask for more every day. We had our daily supply of free bottled water which we cooled in the mini refrigerator. Breakfast was simple with less than 10 choices but bread, coffee and jam were unlimited. The waiters were accommodating and always ready to help.
SM is very near the place so it was easy to shop for souvenirs. It was also easy to book Grab to take us around. The staff at the front desk gave suggestions on places to visit and even booked our shuttle to the airport when it was time to depart. Thumbs up for excellent service!

The executive suite was very elegant, two rooms in one (separated by a door), two air conditioners, two televisions, and two closets. The lounge was separated from the king-sized bed giving a sense of privacy. The comfort room was sizeable. The accommodation came with swimming access for 4, and the pool was sizeable for the waves, with sanitary comfort rooms at the pool area. The cabanas (cottages) were very stylish and sizeable as well. There were kiddie pools as well and an area in the main pool for kids. The accommodation also came with a hearty breakfast which was very delicious. 💖

Stayed at Acacia from Oct 4-8 for a training workshop and the entire stay was a great experience.
Food was very delicious (tho towards the end of our stay, the quality kind of dropped a bit so I think they have 2 chefs). Highly recommend their bam-i and chicken tocino! The guest rooms are tidy, very comfortable, and sanitized properly. The function room was a conducive place for our training workshop; all AV equipment were working properly and the setup was very professional. Both the inside and the outside of the hotel have nice ambience because of the beautiful interiors and the luscious greeneries. The staff are attentive and accommodating despite only having a skeletal workforce. The hotel manager, Ms Apple, provided such great service to our team. Overall, I highly recommend this place both for leisure and business purposes. I even ended up extending my stay after all participants in our training checked out already.

+1
Hotel has potential but needs improvement. Stayed from March 30-April 1, 2022 and here's a list of my bad experiences:
1. Check In: From the start, I experienced problems, they can't find my reservation and it took them almost 30 minutes to check me in.
2. Room: Had a lot of issues, 1st, Bed cover had dark stains 2nd, Comforter was dusty, I knew because as soon as I tucked myself in, I started wheezing and had an allergic rhinitis attack, I had this feeling of dust sticking to your skin too, ended up taking cetirizine ( good thing I always have one in my medkit which I bring in my travels ), also ended up buying Fluticasone nasal spray. 3rd, Open and unprotected wires were sticking out under the TV, no idea if they were liveas I didn't check, no plans of getting myself electrocuted, 4th, A hot water kettle was provided but there was no nearby outlet to plug it in, other outlets were at the back of the side table so you have to hold the kettle and support it while waiting for the water to boil, no thanks.
3. Comfort Room: Tiles have mold growth and I have no idea what that green thing stuck at the corner of the area where you put your shampoos and bath soap is ugggh dirty. ( check photo )
4. WiFi: Intermittent, it comes and goes, not sure if it's because my room was at the end of the hallway, anyway, ended up relying more on my mobile data
5. Location: A bit far from the city proper, located in front of the ship dock/wharf, served me well though 'coz I was able to do morning runs along the port area and it was breezy
6. Food: only had the breakfast, food was mediocre
I know it's a challenge to take over an old hotel so and bring it up to speed, am sure you can do better than this, cheers and looking forward to improvements on my next visit

From CNX family
The accommodation and service were really the best.
Staff there were very patient and accommodating when it comes to addressing our concern esp. the people at the back of the function hall who were helpful during event. The front desk girl that night is very professional and maintained her customer service attitude despite of situations. (We were drunk)

At first everything's good...comfortable and clean rooms. However, despite the pricey room rate of 3,700 with buffet breakfast. During our breakfast we are disappointed that they only serve 2 main courses...we requested to cook for bacon since its not included in their menu for the day, then they charge us for an additional payment for the bacon. Unlike other hotels there is no additional charge.

I'd like to comment the front office lady chubby one but pretty who assisted me when I check in on July 11. I didn't get her name but I heard some calling her Ms.Jam I don't know but she brought up my mood after my bad experience other hotel earlier in that day before going to acacia. She gave us the best service during my checked in. Please extend to her my heartfelt appreciation. All staff was very friendly housekeeping was very attentive when it comes my need. The room was very clean and the place is very accessable. Over all my experience in acacia hotel was the best.

I travel a lot for business and this would be the worate hotel I've ever stayed in.
In the 1st room we were allocated the wifi and tv did not work. For a business trip wifi is essential so the hotel moved us to a different room.
In the 2nd room the linen had not been changed from the previous user. The sheets were stained and had hair on them. We had the sheets and pillows changed.
As we had arrived late we decided to eat in the hotel so that we could relax. My 1st choice was unavailable so I chose the pasta carbonara. What I was served was some mush with a curdled cheese sauce and no a carbonara, my associate chose a ceasar salad.which had soggy bread not croutons and a sizzling mixed seafood plate. She was told that some of the ingredients for this dish were not available.
This hotel is so bad I would not recommend it to my enemies, let alone family and friends and I will never stay their again. The next hotel we stayed in was 4 star and charged the same amount for a night

If your intention is to just rest/sleep comfortably & spend time away from the city noise, this is a good place. Staff are accommodating, friendly, & helpful .
However, if you intend to do a staycation or stay productive/connected at the same time, this might not be a place for you.
Here are a few observations (not exhaustive, though):
CONS:
1. Internet was really intermittent and snail-slow (a stark contrast to what their ads claim as having a high speed internet). Your phone data can serve your connectivity needs better.
2. Cable TV was not working. If only their internet was good, it could've have saved the day.
3. Food quality was good but inconsistent (though serving was generous)
4. AC was a bit noisy
PROS:
1. Friendly & accommodating staff
2. Quiet location. No traffic noise. Nice view of the sea.
3. Food servings were surprisingly generous.
4. Updated interiors, good relaxing ambiance
5. Ample parking. Ideal for those with cars.
I think other than being a good place to simply "unplug, relax, & recharge," at the price you're paying you may get more bang for your buck elsewhere. I hope they're able to adequately address the CONS listed.

The cleanliness of the hotel facilities is not well maintained. The elevator walls and floors are full of marks and dust. I even experienced someone knocking on my door just to ask if I needed a cleaning of my room, I was in the toilet when it happened and I had to stop my thing just to answer the door. The towels are not white and soft anymore. The bed sheets are very old as well thus, need to be replaced. If you don't have a car a taxi is not always available. I hope you also need to train your personnel at the front desk to communicate well especially the guy who was there, for easier transactions he was too stiff to talk to over the phone. I also noticed a girl assigned to the front desk, she was on her cellphone texting and didn't notice that I was already in front of her. Your breakfast needs also to be improved. Please take these comments as a challenge to improve. I had an experience staying in Acacia in Alabang and the experience was very different.
