Beware of checking in at this hotel, they will require you to post a security deposit. In my case I gave my credit card as a guarantee for the security deposit and upon checking out, the person on the front desk told me that everything is settled and ok, after a month my credit card statement arrived and I was...

The Sugarland Hotel is such a good place to stay when you are in Bacolod. The staff and crew are very hospitable and friendly. The food at the buffet breakfast are great too. I enjoyed our stay in this hotel which lasted for two days!

We stayedd one night at the Sugerland Hotel. The hotel sits on a busy road close to the centre of Bacolod. Open arrival two large functions were in full swing. Upon checking into our room, the noise from the swimming pool area was intolerable, and sleeping would have been impossible. After negotiations at reception we were upgraded to a delux...

I stay in this hotel last December 27-29 to attend a wedding ceremony together with my family. The staff are nice and efficient (prompt whatever and whenever I have request especially when I need clothes for ironing they accepted it even it is already late night and I need it in the morning)

Cockroach on the Salpicao and billed the wrong table on our credit card. It was such a hassle as we were called back to correct our bill. On top of all that, we weren't given any discount, upon asking the receptionist just replied "Ahay, tuod?" 😠😠😠

They have no clue on how to handle customer complaints. Instead of just owning up to your mistake and apologizing, they still tried to insist that they hadn't done anything wrong. Here's the deal, we were about to check out but when we saw the bill, it had additional charges which we didn't agree upon. We tried to clear things...

We were hopeful when entering the hotel because of the ambience of the lobby and the hotel room. However, it did not get any better after that. The service was poor. The breakfast buffet was far below expectations. Worst of all, we were promised a discount and promo rate that included free extra beds. It was only during checkout after...

Very affordable for the quality of stay and service, the hot water was awesome! They have a clean bathroom, and some of the amenities are the best. Our company spent the Holidays there with no hassle. The food they catered was great. Good price and location because it is very accessible and easily to find especially to those first timer...

The Sugarland Hotel is considered as one of the best hotels in Bacolod City for the past years, but it seems that recently their customer service has become discouraging. While they boast of their good food, the service has become relatively poor. The serving per head for buffet service has become very expensive and they are not flexible to adjust...

It was busy days during the 2016 Masskara festival hence the hotel is full of guests but we managed to get a room prior to the event through online booking. Staffs at the reception area are polite. The hallways of the hotel at the third floor is open, the temperature is warm.
