Choosing this spot gives you the chance not to take a plunge but just soaking your feet and half of the body to the hot summer spring part of Mambukal .As you work too much , we need a time out . Take a picture of this steaming hot part of the Resort . Amazingly designed to give us the... More

Going to Mambukal is a breathe of fresh air . once you decide to take a plunge on the warm hot pool . you will definitely find it refreshing . They also offer a lot of additional activities like their butterfly garden . their trek to pool up to the 7th and also their additional food stalls at the butterfly... More

The accommodation of this place is just OK. Probably the best feature is the "food court" area that has several choices for dining. None are great but some similar places don't offer any dining options. The place was very crowded on the weekend so don't expect a quiet getaway into the mountains. Checkout times seem to be very rigid.

This is my third time going to mambukal and each time, it is getting worse and worse. The rooms are dirty and creepy, and the zipline is close. As for the food, the food is reasonably priced and delicious.

It's a nice place to go since theirs so much to do there. Sitting in the Hot Springs and looking up to see giant bats hanging upside down was very different but cool as well. The little girls enjoyed the large pool while we liked the hot springs .Keep in mind that the rooms in cottages are spacious enough for... More

*stayed for 2 days and 1 night last September of 2013 If you want, like and love to hike, good place. If you want, like and love trees, lots of it. If you want, like and love nature, this is perfect. The place is surrounded with lots of trees. Even when the sun is scorching hot during the day, it's... More

... worth a visit. IMHO, 2 days would be just right. definitely avoid weekends, it is a bit chaotic. you can spend one day trekking the waterfalls and one day relaxing within the resort. bear in mind though there are fees: main entrance, swimming pools, cottage hire, butterfly farm, etc. you only pay for what you want to enjoy.

I would say it's the best place for people who wanted to relax from city noise and busy life, the place is extremely good for vacation especially for travellers who wanted to release their stress, you will be able to see beautiful flowers, be stress free on their hot spring and you can do trekking until their seventh falls, and... The place is jam-packed with families during the weekend. Avoid it if you want some peace and quiet. The zipline and forest canopy were not operational. The hike up to the falls is a good challenge, but what is more challenging is dealing with pesky "tour guides" who will insist on accompanying you even if you say you are not... More

Went here in May 2016...its a beautiful place but very crowded. There are lots of activities to enjoy such as zip line, canoe/boats, treks, etc. Its a nice place to take the family but FYI you'll have to pay to use their pools. If you like waterfalls, there are 7 levels of waterfalls..you will have to hike up steeper hills... More
