Booked a twin room through agoda. The lobby was quite appealing but the room was really shabby. Aircon and wifi was working well, hot and cold shower was good. There was also a ref inside the room. But the bathroom was dirty. You could see The dirt on the floor and yellow stains on the wall. We stayed for an...

The Diplomat Hotel is clean, has large rooms, and always has someone at the desk who speaks English. Be aware there is hot water in the shower but for the sink. Tile floors so bring slippers. They provide free internet but only for two devices with a passcode that changes daily.

I stayed in the Diplomat hotel after reading the recommendation from the Lonely Planet guidebook as I was looking to stay somewhere fairly central and around £20 a night. The room was quite big - I would say quite dated and the air conditioner unit was extremely loud. The staff were all super nice and helpful and the location is...

Stayed here for just a night. This is a budget hotel good for backpackers or travellers on a budget. The place is clean and the amenities are reasonable. This is not for people that expect superior service and facilities. One thing i did not like is there is a distinct smell on the room.

I booked this due to some recommendation that this hotel is quite near and affordable to the North Bus Terminal if we want to go to Bantayan island. However, since the hotel is considered old, the rooms seem not to have been properly maintained as the toilet is heavily stained, which then looked like it was not cleaned well. The...

My room was large and well cleaned. There were only very few bugs. They were not really bothering me. The non-flat TV and the furniture were not modern, but they worked. The air condition was a bit noisy but efficient. There was WiFi there. I didn't get connection with a laptop in the head end of the bed, but there...

Nice strong aircon, and quite spacious room. Location is just OK, taxis and jeepneys are very accessible right in front of our hotel entrance. 7eleven store and restaurant is just across the street. Food plates and utensils are sometimes scattered outside hotel doors and sometimes uncollected. Overall rating, 3 star.

Hotel is old but that is no excuse to be dirty. i got some kind of rashes after I stayed there, and it must be their beddings. There is also some construction going on so dust was everywhere, and their corridors are grimy and dinghy.
