Second stay in central Cebu City at GV tower. I forgot how small the room is and bathroom is even smaller. The balcony was nice and super city views. The price is good. The negatives are very small room. In addition the bathroom is so confined in space you really can't sit at toilet without first closing bathroom door. It... More

If you are looking for a budget hotel this hotel fits for you. They also have room for 10pax for only 3850 per night. Location is good near Metro Gaisano Jollibee, Mcdonald and Colon Street. Walking distance to Tabuan. Great service with friendly staff though wifi has poor connection at times. Great stay!

The accommodation is pretty cheap also their hot & cold shower works well. Their food is not that good and yet it's expensive. I noticed their wifi is not working sometimes and keeps disconnected. In-room facilities could be improved, especially their tv's and bathroom.

The staff were very nice and welcoming, even when I only needed a place to stay for a night before catching my flight going back to Manila the following morning. Got the PHP 765 promo for a single room and it offered a great view of the south seaside area of the city. Very basic but functional. One thing 'though,... More

I am lucky to have the standard double room with a promo rate of P1000.00 only. Room is pretty basic and this is what I need since I will only use the hotel room to sleep. View of the Jones Avenue is amazing at night. Highly recommended for those looking for bidget rooms with great value. Guards and staff are... More

Booked here because we need to go to the South Terminal to take the bus to Oslob, and this one seems to be the closest (5 minutes walk). The price is really cheap. The room has a nice view of the cebu city. 20 minutes walk to the St. Nino church an all the old town stuff. Colon Street is... More

This hotel is very centrally located and is very close to the South Bus Terminal which is honestly the only thing it has going for it! The rooms and bathrooms are extremely tiny but have air conditioning, hot water, and a television. The bed is clean and comfy but the blankets are lurid coloured and give you the vibe of... More

This hotel is cheap and located in downtown Cebu. You can just walk to the historical place in Cebu. This is better than the other cheap hotel. There is a hot and cold shower, a slipper, a flat screen tv and a nice bed and you can see the view of the downtown. This hotel is also near in Elizabeth... More

Me and my friends got to stay here for 2nights and I can say that its not that pricey unlike others. What I dont like about this is that they have limited socket. Cr was great with hot and cold shower. Room was big for the 5 of us and hotel receptionists are pretty and accomodating.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
GV Hotel is one of the fastest growing budget hotel groups in the Philippines. With 22 branches strategically located all over key places in the country, the GV Hotel Group has also become one of the largest provider of great value accommodations in the Philippine hospitality industry. With its rapid expansion in Visayas, Mindanao and Luzon since starting out in 1999, the GV Hotel Group has become synonymous with quality, service and value for money for the tourist, ahente (sales agent) and negosyante (businessmen/women) market. With no frills practical accommodation, the hotel caters to basic needs whilst ensuring a safe stay during one’s travels. As testimony to the company’s vision and commitment to providing affordable accommodation, GV Tower Hotel was completed in October 2006. The largest branch as of date (June 2013), the GV Tower can accommodate bigger functions and special events; and being one of the tallest buildings in downtown Cebu City, it offers an excellent view of the city and ease of access to the significant tourist spots, such as the Sto Nino Basilica & Magellan’s Cross, as well as access to the Major Markets in Downtown Cebu City.Staying at any GV Hotels is perfect if you’re traveling for business where you will spend most of your time outside on meetings and sales calls. It is also recommended if you’re a tourist who will be outside most of the time appreciating the history, culture, and beauty of the city and province you’re visiting. GV Hotels provides nothing fancy, but it can definitely be the home you can come to at the end of the day to get that good night’s rest. ... more   less
