We took a twin room (304). It was clean and spacious but we could not get the AC and water heater to work properly. My roommate was not able to sleep properly because he kept adjusting the AC; it is either very cold or warm, we cannot seem to find a sweet spot. As for the water heater, only one... More

It is very close to Ayala shopping mall, just 3 mins walk, and you can have everything there. The decoration of the room is pretty and it is clean. However the wooden rooms cannot isolate any noise from corridor and next rooms. This hotel is on a main road where it is so noisy from the traffic even at mid-night.... More

Stayed at this place after we arrived from Cebu. I have always kept my eye on this place (I lived in Cebu for a year) since it's on Escario Street, near Ayala Center (5 min walk) and lots of restaurants/bars nearby (it's surrounded more by cafe's and restaurants now). It has wooden floors, cute wallpaper, a bit quirky. They have... More

The staff is very accommodating; we asked for hot water, new towels & beddings, even kitchen utensils every now and then.

It's basic but neat and clean and excellent value compared to what you get elsewhere in Cebu. Also, immoral activities are discouraged - in pleasant contrast to others. Friendly staff (esp Lilian the manager) - a good choice for anyone on a budget, and hard to beat. Compared better than some much more xepensive joints in town.

Another student and I are in the Philippines to complete research for our masters thesis. We are partnering with an organization based in Banilad. Students from last year's research group stayed at a nearby place which our taxi driver was unable to locate, so we stayed at Myra's. The staff was so friendly we decided to stay. Lillian, the front... More

“Room 204 faced a streetlight so our room was bright at night-bad for sleeping. And this is right above a tattoo shop which on the weekend we were there was filled with noisy folks until well past 3AM.”
