The Grand regal is not quite an old hotel and you you can see it everywhere. It really needs a make-over. It´s really old fashioned. The rooms are spacious, the bed is hug and the view from the 10th floor is awesome- The room are equiped with a big bed, normal sized cr, tv, fridge and a desk. And an...

Hotels showcases retro... everything. Their towels needs to be replaced. The rooms are dim and the control for their lights really needs to be upgraded. They have jerry the mouse visiting in rooms and the bed with fleas. Their water heaters are moldy, when you ask for replacement, they will tell you all their water heaters are moldy. The buffet...

I used to love this hotel in the past. After several years I had the chance to book again recently and I realized even if it remains affordable, the service and the ambience are not quite the same. The beddings smelled like damped laundry. And the faucets in the toilet and bath could use some cleaning and repair. But what...

I found a rat in a trap in my room #711. I immediately switched to a new hotel. The hotel staff knew about the rat problem hence the trap. Worst hotel that I've ever stayed in...disgusting. The towels are old and the wifi doesn't work. There are so many newer hotels in Davao which are much cleaner with better amenities....

Rooms were clean, Staff at front door & restaurants were courteous but in front desk was so so, not friendly at all. Rooms were big enough, with complete toiletries that were replenished everyday. It also comes with buffet breakfast. Wifi connection was good. It was just few minutes away to Davao airport. Location was very accessible.

This hotel has seen better times. It is not awful, and provides comfortable accommodation but considering its rates, we expect more. The faucet knobs are corroded and scaled. There were no towels and toilet paper when we entered the room and had to repeatedly request for it. The sink was also clogged. I will not come back if I had...

I booked this hotel for only around $80/night. (I think it was a promo. But the normal price is around $90-95 anyway.) It came with free buffet breakfast, access to their pool, gym and sauna, and a nice 34-sq-m room with bathtub, cable LED tv, big desks and a bedside lights control center (which I really liked). For hotels with...

I have been to this hotel a quite numerous times to attend seminars. This times it was for a conference. The hotel's location is quite far from the city center. It cost me mire than a hundred pesos from the inland terminal. The facade of the hotel was imposing because of its height. The staff are very accommodating. I went...

Driving up the driveway towards the main drop off area, you'd think that the Grand Regal Hotel would be awesome and fabulous. As soon as you step down from the vehicle, however, you'll realize that it will never be awesome and fabulous. The guards do not greet you and the staff do not even bother looking you in the eye....
