It was fun going back to Villa Escudero after almost a decade. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival, we were served with a welcome drink which my kids really loved. The villa that we rented was really nice. It was like a 2-storey bahay-kubo by the river. It can accommodate up to a maximum of 12 people....

We visited Villa Escudero in weekend and enjoyed a cultural dance of Philippine different areas and tradition including wedding ceremony. This place is unique. Yes it is far from Manila, about 2 hours by road but worth the visit. Upon arrival, welcome drink halo halo, then start our full day in the resort. Nice lake, wonderful play area and pool...

I can still remember my last visit in Villa Escudero. It was rainy season but it didnt stop the people from coming to this place, infact. Its kinda overcrowded during my 1st visit in this place. Highlights: Museum, Carabao Ride, Artificial Falls for Eating Lowlights: Too expensive for a daytour, we paid almost 1,300 for a daytour which I kind...

It is said by brochures that Villa Escudero will give you an opportunity to experience a country life just near the capital. In my experience it is at best average with a 2.7 rating. The carabao ride is okay for good photo opportunity with staffs playing old barrio musics. The waterfall dining is mediocre with average food and dirty surroundings. The...

Visiting the Philippines for a mix of work and leisure, I was taken by friends to this amazing resort. Fascinating museum, amazing setting for a wonderful buffet lunch at the waterfall and a colourful set of cultural dances at the show area to end it. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful country.

From the moment, we took the Yack drawn carriage ride, the feeling of relaxation took over. There were plenty of sights to explore and take pictures with. They have an incredible pool with a waterfall and beach chairs which sat in the water adding a calming effect to the moment. Even as it started to rain I was not willing...

Definitely worth your time and money. This is one of a perfect example for "Simplicity at it's Best". We went there just to experience eating right next to a waterfalls but we ultimately decided to spend the night since the place is so cool and refreshing to the eyes, especially if all you see in the metro are massive structures....

Was really excited to go here after seeing many videos and pictures online. The waterfall was a lot smaller than what i imagined. it was a nice experience though. The food was average. it was nice to see the Carabao. the museum was terrifying to be honest, extremely dark. The bamboo rafting was a nice touch too. I wouldn't go...

An amazing place that reflects the cultures of modern and colonial phases of Philippines by Spanish, British, Japanese and American. The city was created by a Escudero Family ( family of a Spanish father and a philippines mother). The rich collection of the Escudero Family is well organised in three museums that reflects the culture of Philippines across all phases,...
