We only had an overnight stay in this hotel. Which was a good thing since the aircon didn't work and we didnt get a good night sleep because of it. The water heater didnt work too so we had to deal with a cold shower. The bathroom was not so clean and they provided only 1 set of a bathrobe and a slipper when we booked for two. So we requested for another set which they brought to the room in just a few minutes . The good points though are it had a great location. In the middle of commercial complexes and its not so far from the airport. We checked in online but we had to wait for our room to be ready. Service was okay since checking in and checking out was a breeze.

I have been coming to this hotel a week a month for the past six months and I just had the most horrible experience - nothing worked during my week here. I had felt that the standards have been decreasing quite badly over the past few months, but this trip was dramatically different. It started with a very bad welcome from the front desk staff - . We also noticed that the room was a little dirty and decided to clean it ourselves (see photo of the hand towel used). The room was filthy! When we can back to the room to prepare for dinner, we had asked for toilet paper as Housekeeping forgot to give us a roll. After we can back 2 hours we still did not receive. It took 2 calls to front desk and 45 mins to get this - I could not believe that something so simple could be managed so badly.

J had some errands in Ortigas during the CNY 2020 weekend so we thought of making it a staycation since we haven't booked an Accor room under J's account in a while. PROS: Consistent well curated food at the breakfast buffet. Not too wide but each offer tasted really good ensuring a satisfying meal. This is further complemented by Kalesa Cafe's top notch crew who are all warm, ready to assist and knowledgeable about their food offering. 2. Bed, pillows and specially their sheets are high quality for a guaranteed quality sleep. 3. Being a small hotel, corridors are quiet and not crowded. 4. Location is ideal with several malls around within 10 minute walking distance. COULD BE IMPROVED: 1. Wish the check-in personnel were as warm and personable as the Kalesa cafe crew. 2. Wifey mentioned that the bathroom toiletries lacked conditioner. Nevertheless, another very good stay at Mercure.

Staff were great and helped store my frozen 18 KG of meat. Rooms ok and bedding was very good. The issues i had was aircon not working which i think from feedback, that's its been common for awhile. Fridges are off and very inefficient, so hardly cooling your items. Had a extended check out for my late flight and i really appreciated this from staff. Breakfast was good and with a great intro into their foods.

I went to the hotel to see the actual rooms for our upcoming stay. The rooms are very nice from their standard room to deluxe. Staffs are very nice and accommodating especially gismo who showed us the rooms. He answered all of our questions about the rooms and even informed us about the amenities we can expect during our stay. It is noticeable though that only 1 elevator is working and air conditioning in lobby is bad. i hope that it is fixed during our stay. I am really looking forward to our stay and might change my review soon. :)
