We headed to Resorts World to meet relatives and friends and chose to spend time at Cafe Maxims because of its proximity to entrance. At first we were under the impression that it is just a regular coffee shop and we didn't expect that the food would be delicious. And they were - quickly served hot meals (pasta, quiche, wraps...

Stayed for one night on business. This is a old, worn out hotel. My room was big but smelled of smoking and mold. The hotel staff is slow and overall took forever to check in and out. Room was pretty clean, bed ok and linen ok. Bathroom was ok, found out in the morning there was no light bulb in...

I stayed at Maxim in March 2017. I signed up as a member @ 10,000 php which is approximately 200 USD that included one night suite stay and a few insignificant perks. This place was a huge disappointment. Maxim is said to be the country's first 6 star hotel. This place is obviously aimed at the Chinese tourist coming to...

As I mentioned in the title of my review, I feel like the decor is already outdated. However, the rooms are really spacious and comfortable. Even the bathroom is big! You can literally have a whole family sleep there.

Well, the place is ok for gambling, but they charge you like US$5 for a beer, definitely not a cool place to go to for gambling if you are drink because other casinos offer free drinks, I mean free drinks throughout. My friend was playing US$20 a hand or more for like 3 hours, no free drinks were offered. I...

The hotel looks fantastic on the outside but the floor lobby, elevators and rooms look and smell old. Standard check in time is 2 or 3pm but we were able to get in at around 5pm--our longest wait to check in ever. It's quiet, which is good. Nice to have tried this once but wouldn't go back here.

The only thing I liked here is their pool. As for the suite, we found the decor too old for a new hotel. Even found broken, just-taped bathroom fixtures. The cleaning staff "forgot" their cleaning stuff inside room. The breakfast buffet was soooii bad : nearly empty chafing dishes by 9am? Coffee served midway through breakfast. Poorly trained staff, esp...
