I have stayed at the Durban Hotel many times and recommend it highly. Friendly and efficient staff, very clean rooms and excellent service. Very central to businesses in the Makati district. Restaurants close and shopping easy

Stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights when in Makati for a business trip..Price and location is good..The noise insulation is not very good at the ground floor so at night can hear people walking and talking outside..Not much of a bother if youre a sound sleeper though...The surrounding area has bars as well as nightlife..Very close to... I have stayed at nearly all Hotels and guest houses in the Makati area and the Durban is simply the best by far. For a small and cramped location the management and staff give the Durban the illusion of space, comfort and style. The prices are very reasonable and the food, whilst small quantities is just unbelievable. I am a... More

It was a nice surprise to arrive at this hotel. A little difficult to get the room reserved directly online, but once secured, all was great. I was a woman traveling alone and the staff are delightful, efficient, professional, very helpful, and available 24/7. The rooms were clean, with flatscreen, and quiet if that's what you're looking for. It's located... More

I often stay in Manila so I know what you can get for your money. This is in an area I am familiar with so I was happy to stay here. It is a short drive to Greenbelt and other facilities. The rooms are small but clean. It is a good renovation. The restaurant next door is fabulous which makes... More

Very clean, modern hotel with a great restaurant. Staff extremely friendly and helpful - even going out of their way to try and find the best bus for us going up to North Luzon. Good location near to the airport with lots of other restaurants and shops nearby. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Manila.

Stayed here for 18 nights mainly as a base going to Coron and Tagatay etc . The first thing that stands out in this hotel is the friendly genuine staff particularly on the front desk and was a nice touch finding cookies left by the management. The reason I mention the staff because as is often in Makati particularly in the... - The food was good and the rooms were clean. However, our room did not have an external window and the space was small. If we were to stay in Manila again we would likely get a room closer to the tourist attractions to save on the taxi fares. However on the whole the staff were friendly and the room... More

The rooms are not cleaned properly, I found a cockroach, I was disappointed. It is actually a cheap hotel. Even the people were not totally nice, they sounded fake. It was noisy too, difficult to sleep, aircon not working properly

The highlights were the staff and the food. The staff were amazing, so friendly and attentive! The restaurant pasta and pizza were fantastic…first three nights in Philippines and we ate Italian it was so good. Recommend the red house wine, not so much the house white. The rooms were basic but adequate and very clean, bed a little hard, daily... More
