Perfect and more than recommended to any backpacker! You can go there eyes closed. I was there with a friend. First night we arrived in the Philippines we missed our flight to Palawan... What to do then? Ask OMP. We were received so friendly. Special thanks to Chateau (but to the whole team as well). The dorms are comfortable (sometimes...

We went to the Fondue Pot with family. The food was great specially the cheese and chocolate. Service was excellent. It is a nice experience and plan to stay for quite some time if you are having the full course. It is quite pricy however, the quality of food and service are excellent.

Our Melting Pot is truly a melting pot that created an incredible, welcoming, family experience. The facilities are great for hostel standards, the staff is amazing, and the feeling of community really drives this hostel to the top. I met some awesome staff and guests that made my stay as a solo traveler very fun. The tours were great also!...

OMP Makati is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, and helpful - they go the extra mile. It is clean, with Free wi-fi, breakfast, and great location. It's my second time to stay here I feel so at home, the staff are like family to me. Miss Chateau is warm, upbeat and graceful - she's always willing to assist you....

I have stayed several times in the past in this hostel. I would have to agree with many of the good things mentioned by the others which have reviewed this place already. Indeed location is central and ideal. Could be a bit noisy at some nights. Generally clean and orderly. Excellent staff who bend over backwards to make your stay...

I stayed for over a week at Our Melting Pot's sister hostel, The Good Shepherd Hostel, which is only 3 streets away. I am most impressed with the small team of very warm and personable hosts, especially the gracious Chateau. The services rendered are of high quality. They answered every email and every fb message quickly to confirm my booking....

Cheap hostel on a busy road in makati. Location is great, market right in front during day / night. Breakfast is simple, but filling (oatmeal, cereal, toast and spreads). Rooms are small, but not unbearable. Bit of a weird smell in the room, couple bugs (some roaches), but overall good stay.

The people makes this place special. Filipinos everywhere seem friendly and hospitable, but the uniqueness here is the genuiness and the depth of their concern for you, not as guest but as someone who is part of the family. They know when you are not well and will do their best to help you feel better. I chose the inner...

The staff here are very friendly and happy to help with everything. The location is also very good. Shower area is clean, as is linen etc. However, in our first private room the shower didn't work, in the second room, there was only about 30cm of space other than the bed, it was very cramped and the bed had slats...

I arrived at 3.00 am and asked for a free bed. No Problem! The next day, I did not know what I was supposed to watch in Manila. No Problem. The hostel manager showed us the city, sights and food market. Thank you. BUT the best, before I lost my wallet and passport. No Problem. The stuff helped me, I...
