I arrived in puno when almost every dorm bed in the city was occupied. There was some trouble with my booking, so every dorm bed here was occupied as well. Frank in the reception was really helpful, and gave me a private room with private bathroom for the price of a dorm bed. The room was spacious and clean. I...

This hostel was ok. It was clean. Had a standard breakfast of bread butter jelly and coffe and juice. Had to climb 5 flights to get to our room. The shower was very low pressure and did not drain well. All in all it served its purpose. We got a good night sleep. Also it as a central location and...

We stayed 2 nights and this place has its pros and cons: Pros: - close to the main square an Lima street, less than 5 minute stroll - cheap rooms, also very spacious. - bed was warm and comfortable if it weren't for the noise it would have been a good nights sleep - big locks and good security at...

I tried to stay with some friends at another hostel nearby but they were full and I was recommended to come here. Price was similar but this place didn't have any sort of communal area, making it more of a hotel with shared rooms in my opinion. It's lacking most of the ambiance I look for in hostels (vs hotels)...

I stayed in a clean and quiet 8 bed room at the top of the hostel. The receptionist was very helpful with my different bookings I had made, because I had some issues with those. The hot water worked occasionally, and the breakfast was nice.

I slept here 1 night but I paid for 3 just so I have somewhere I can put my things and luggage in. That one night was kinda tough (this is coming from a very non-diva person). Came in from a nice tour bus from Cusco and was excited to get HOT shower and warm bed in Puno. HOT water...

After confirming if there was WiFi and hot water, I got to my room (top floor) ready to get in the shower and there was absolutely no water pressure. I had to get dressed again to go notify of the problem. When they went to check, I was told that they would get back to me. While I waited, I...

Pirwa Hostel is not what people typically think about hostel. It's not hipster, it's not funky, but it's clean, it's cheap, with wifi and breakfast. Receptionist are very helpful. Also their trip recommendation for Lake Titicaca is nice.

This hostel is in an excellent location only a few blocks from the plaza de armas. They offer a free pick up service from the bus station. Breakfast is included (it is very basic, just bread and jam) and the staff are so so lovely and helpful. They gave us a heater for our room because we were cold. However,...

The staff were really helpful and it's in a good location too. The rooms are really cold but have great duvets to keep you cosy and you also have heaters you can control which is great. The showers and kitchen were cold though and the breakfast was really basic (bread and coffee)... The room we had was really noisy over...
