A medium-size, easygoing hotel with several relaxing public areas, including a fireplace lounge and courtyard. Close to Puno’s restaurant and bar scene along the pedestrian-only Lima boulevard — just a 5-minute walk— but just far enough removed to make sure visitors get a good night’s sleep.

Its location in the city is excellent as the establishment is located in the Historic Center of Puno, with close proximity to the city's Plaza de Armas. Its location coincides with being the pedestrian commercial and hospitality street of the city.
Very good attention and assistance from the staff, worrying about our physical situation in relation to the so-called “altitude sickness” or “soroche”; Keep in mind that Puno is at an altitude above sea level of 3827 m.
The rooms are comfortable as well as the common spaces, equipped with precise infusions and even being able to receive oxygen in order to alleviate discomfort and to achieve better physical or adaptability and avoid ailments derived from "altitude sickness" derived from the height above the sea level of Puno.
However, I do not recommend requesting transportation service to the establishment from any point: airport, bus terminal, etc.
In my specific case, a taxi service (not remise, or special vehicle) whose rate I verified was between 8 to 12 Peruvian soles, the establishment charged me USD$ 20.00 equivalent to 75 Peruvian soles; surrounding surcharge at 937%.

Nice room, very airtight, we never felt cold and the heater was not necessary. Above the bathroom, they should add air circulation because the environment remains very concentrated.
Very good location! And breakfast too! The people are very kind with their attention.

For the staff we would give 10 stars if possible. I was not feeling well due to altitude sickness and the gentlemen who was at the reception on the 4th of June around 14:00( I unfortunately can’t remember his name ) helped me to find a delivery service to get some food to the hotel. His colleague Oscar suggested taking oxigen for free that they had in the hotel for guests suffering from altitude sickness. We had a small issue in our room and we were immediately relocated by the staff Thank you so much to all of you! Casa Andina would not be the same without its excellent staff!! Thank you very very much !

Excellent attention, very courteous, my little 9-year-old daughter fell very badly, we were provided oxygen even in the early morning and recovered. Excellent staff, always attentive and courteous. The impeccable room and the detail of the alfajores left us super.

This hotel is nicely located in the shopping district in Puno! There are many great eats and shopping opportunities. Very safe area and has amazing hotel staff. Clean rooms the decor is just simple however you have everything you need to be comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful and they have a coffee/tea station full stock 24/7. The shower floor was heated which was a nice touch and they have heaters in the rooms that work well and extra blankets if needed. Bring your own wash cloth they do not provide any.

This Hotel is located fairly close to the shores of Lake Titicaca – in fact a Rickshaw ride took us there in five minutes or so.
We were here for only one night, so we were not picky about the quality of the room. We had one that was adequate – with a comfortable bed, a heater, two large chairs, and a small bathroom. The room, on the ground floor, had no view, but was quiet, so we were OK.
The morning Breakfast had a lot of choices to get us on our way. Service from everyone was wonderful.
The location was also good – very accessible to the Main Square and lots of restaurants.
We had to leave early the next morning, but they safely held our luggage for us till we returned in the afternoon.

I am always impressed with the excellent service I receive from the staff at all the Casa Andina's I have stayed at. The Standard hotels are just that..Standard, but if you are not spending much time in your hotel room that's all you really need is a clean comfortable room. I find the included breakfast a bonus especially if you are in a hurry to go on a tour. It was nice that they offered us a packed breakfast when they learned we would be checking out before breakfast started. Although not the greatest at least we had something to eat on the 5 hour bus trip.

Breakfast vending machine coffee should be more loaded. The thermos is better. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a good experience. The pillows might have softer. Good drinks station infusions and coffee. Also provide cold filtered water dispenser.

This hotel is quiet and beautiful. The location is perfect if you plan to take a boat ride and tour the Uros floating islands. Lake views from the hotel are also great. I would definitely stay here again.
