Friendly staff. Good location. Spacious comfortable room. This is a very decent hotel. breakfast was good but needs to get up early to have a good choice. I'd recommend hotel balsa. It does get a bit cold even with the radiator but plenty of blankets

This hotel was clean and very comfortable due to it being nice and warm. I found it a real plus having a radiator in the room when travelling around at high altitudes and the carpet also made the room cosier. The bathroom was new and the shower hot, all big pluses. The staff in the hotel were polite and helpful,...

Free internet and WiFi available. Rooms clean and comfy. Breakfast continental buffet, cold meats, scramble eggs, bread, fresh fruit and cereal, milk and yogurt, thought good value compared to other hotels we stayed in. We were to be collected to go to Lake Titicaca by our tour operator, {nothing to do with hotel}, however they forgot to collect us, spoke...

We stayed here for two nights in different rooms whilst on a tucan tour. Rooms are basic - ours were cold and had signs of mould and damp. They do provide an electric heater though. Lift wasn't working so big hike to 5th floor Breakfast was ok but not worth the 13 soles in my opinion. Scrambled eggs cold, bread...

The BOOM, Boom, booom started at 6:30am this morning! The major construction right next door has rendered the Hotel Balsa worthless! The new multistory hotel in construction will require at least a year's worth of pounding and chiseling. Balsa is a nice hotel otherwise! Attentive staff, ample breakfast, central location but staying next to an loud construction site is not...

Good rooms and service. Bathroom was very clean with hot water, soap/shampoo supply. The Breakfast was pretty good with lay out of fruits, breads, tea/coffee juices etc. Free Wi-fi connection and it was fast. The reception staff was friendly and even printed out my itenary on request. Over all good value for price.

This hotel is in a convenient area and is only a short walk to the square and local restaurants for tourist. The breakfast here is the not greatest but it does have more items then many more elsewhere. It mostly consist of breads, jams, cheese, and luncheon meats. Also with that there are various juices and yogurt. Yes that is...

We stayed in this simple but pleasant and clean hotel for 2 nights of our Peru holiday. It's in a great location, just around the corner from the cathedral and main restaurants. Unfortunately as this was our 2nd night in Peru most of our party were feeling tired with headaches from the altitude. The bathroom was adequate with plenty of...
