Nice breakfast, with eggs, fruits, ... Spacy rooms, hot shower, good beds, quit hotel Hotel staff even brings you a heating device without asking, because they saw I came in the lobby and was really cold walking distance to the center
Lovely warm room with good views (facing the church) with comfortable beds & linen and brilliant hot shower. Excellent service from the reception staff all around. WE could park our car directly in front of the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay.
The rooms were very clean, everything was impeccable, also the hotel staff was very kind to us, both at breakfast and at reception, where they helped us with tours and tourist information about the city; It was one of the best hotels I visited on my trip to Peru, and despite not being particularly expensive, on the contrary, it is very cheap for what it offers.
Only stayed here one night. The staff were generally friendly. It was great to have a lift instead of lugging our luggage up flights of stairs. The room had a real stale musky smell about it when we entered which was a real put off. It was pretty cold in Puno the night we stayed so it was a bit disappointing that the property charged extra for heating! The room was quiet enough during the night and we didn't hear any of the other guests. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6am, however nothing was ready and we had a tour booked for 7am, so we only managed a coffee which was pretty good and some toast which seemed to be made of old bread. The front office looked after our luggage for us while we were on our tour which was nice of them. I'm not sure what other options are available with the same location in Puno which is the best feature of the property so not sure if we would stay here again.…
My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is perfectly located, right next to El Parque Pino and the main tourist drag in the city. He staff are helpful but we think they may have tried to overcharge us on our stay by doubling the price of our stay. The breakfast was a buffet style with heaps of choice in terms of cold meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, cereals, yogurts, juices, spreads and drinks. The rooms were ok. Very clean and the bed was very comfy but the door didn't properly shut to the bathroom, the water pressure was iffy and the temperature was unstable. It was also tiny which made showering and a little difficult. They also let us sit around in their lobby after we checked out because our bus wasn't coming until 9:30pm. All in all the hotel is good but not excellent and could do with a few improvements.…
My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights while travelling around Puno. First off, the staff were lovely. We arrived at 6am off a Peru hop bus so weren’t expecting check in on our arrival. Perhaps it was because the hotel was particularly quiet (at one point I’m pretty sure there were only 2 other guests in the hotel), but we were ushered straight into our room which was a massive relief. The hotel is also located right in the middle of Puno’s tourist district so everything is close by. Only complaint is the shower was a bit crummy for a hotel of this quality and the raves about restaurant wasn’t open at all during our stay. We would probably stay here again if we came back to Puno.
El Buho is an excellent hotel, the personnel was very helpful👍🏻Our room was clean, and warm. The hotel is located in in the city centre which is very convenient if you want to go out at night. When we left one of the staff members helped us check in for the bus for our next trip.
We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel El Buho in Puno. The people of the reception were very friendly and helpful. The room with private bathroom was very good: large, nice and clean. In the morning we had a good and various breakfast. Worth a visit.
The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The location is great, nearby shops and restaurants. There's a cozy area inside the hotel to have tea for free. The owner is very friendly and has good advice about what to see in Puno. The breakfast buffet was quite nice as well.
I was very pleased with the friendliness of the hotel personnel, with the cleanliness of the room, and with the food served at this hotel. Hence, I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to other travelers visiting Puno. I stayed for one whole week, and the service I received at this hotel made my experience an excellent one. I'll be back to this hotel for my next trip to the city of Puno. Thank you.
