We stayed in a 3 bedroom room for 2 nights. Pros: friendly and attentive staff (I cannot remember his name but there was an extremely attentive and friendly male at the hotel reception who made our stay perfect - thank you!), hot water, warm bedding, offer washing services, free continental breakfast buffet, clean and safe Cons: some construction going on...

What can I say? The receptionist doesnt speak a word English. Laundry is 10 sol per kg!!! Even if we had 7,5 kg of laundry after machu picchu trek they charged us 75 soles!!!! We asked for a discount and tried to explain that its abnormal to charge that much, but they thought it was a good price..... The beds...

This was hard to find as there are roadworks on the entire road and no taxi can get down there. Very quiet and it felt as though we were the only guests except one night when some very loud voices in the corridor echoed throughout the whole building. Very cold. Basic breakfast. Staff a little sleepy, forgot to order our...

This place looks a bit 50's, but it is a great place in town. The street is calm, the atmosphere is serene, while you are only one block away from the main street. The serrvice is very good, even if you arrive by car. Price quality a good deal. Wifi is ok. Breakfast is ok.

Really friendly staff. Clean simple rooms. Cereal, yogurt, bread, jan, cheese and banana for breakfast with coffee, hotchoc or tea. Hot water if you let it run for 5 minutes and wifi that worked even on the third floor. Able to leave bags while doing night on islands and super close to plaza de armas and Lima street where all...

We stayed here for 3 nights in the beginning of Aug. and had absolutely no complaints. Very basic room (yes outdated but comfortable). Actually there is a lot of hot water but something we learned was you had to run it for a full 5 min (or more) before it reached your bathroom. It is very centrally located with a...

A no-frills, but comfortable place to stay, run by a lovely family and very central. The one thing that lets the Don Giorgio down, is the claim to have hot water 24 hours a day. Two mornings out of three we had a cold shower - annoying - especially as the lad behind reception kept claiming the water would be...

Puno is a pleasant town and the Posada Don Giorgio was a nice place to stay. It's on a quiet street near the centro and the people were very friendly. The shower was good and hot. Breakfast was one of the better ones by Peru standards. (Don't expect too much). The room was clean and very reasonable for the price.

My sister, niece and I spent a few days here and we felf fortunate that we had found a quiet, clean spot. The staff was helpful and the breakfast got us off to a good start in the morning. It was only a short walk to Calle Lima were all the shops and restaurants are located

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Average rooms - slightly dark and damp, but made up for by the bathroom - best shower we had in Peru. This was also probably our best night sleep in Peru, being on a side street - it was really quiet. The breakfast was set at a communal table and consisted of the standard bread,...
