It's a big lake with lots of fish. So if you want to spend time in the middle of the lake trying to catch fish on your visit to this wondrous location, by all means, bring your pole!

A cab ride into town won't cost you much but Puno is not really worth the visit and the restaurant in the hotel is excellent. I wouldn't bother to go out
