Nowhere to easily walk to in the evening, expensive but good bar. Good breakfast. Oxygen available next to reception should you need it. Rooms very hot, and no air conditioning, so had to open a window (no balconies) so woken by smell of breakfast cooking. Around the grounds there is a constant smell of sewage, which is worse if you...

The Libertador is a big hotel outside of town with amazing views of the Lake. Because of its size, it has a lot of the amenities you might expect in a big hotel - 24 hour room service, a restaurant, a really good bar, and lots of staff. But that also makes it feel impersonal, particularly in a city (and...

I visited this hotel on a tour of Peru. Our room was large with a decent bathroom and a great view of Lake Titicaca. The restaurant was small was moderate service and both breakfast and dinner. The food was good. All service personnel spoke decent English.

Arrived to Puno, got taxi to the hotel and it literally took 15 minutes from the town to the hotel. Way too far out from anything. Great location with nice views of the lake. But I feel like we were bound to do everything in the hotel as nothing is around it. Room itself was great along with the dinner...

As my son said, seems like from some Bond movie, sitting on the lake, looking like a cruise ship. Very clean and well maintained. Rooms were fine with an excellent view. We ate one night at the bar and one night at the restaurant. Both were very good. Breakfast was well done also. Staff were courteous and helpful.

The location is great if you want to have the view over the lake, otherwise it's a bit distance from downtown. Hotel accept big group so sometime it's not very friendly for family or small group.

If you travel through Peru you see whole cities being ruined from eartquakes, so you cannot believe that somewhere stands a hotel, not being ruined. My surprise everywhere we went in Peru was that in the middle of ruins, a hotel with modern facilities were there. I liked this hotel, even if it was a bit outdated the interieur. Suffering...

This hotel sits on a bay of Lake Titicaca with wonderful views and outdoor area for walking. It is some distance from the town. The room was very comfortable with a lake view; the staff members were very responsive, the public area pleasant with a large amount of seating available. The restaurant was good with an expansive breakfast menu/buffet.

We stayed 2 nights. What is good is the spectacular location overlooking lake Titikaka. It is very clean and the staff are really warm and welcoming. No doubt the best place to stay. However the rooms are very small for a so called 5 star hotel. The place has zero atmosphere. A great pity. Dated furniture and lacking anything to...

We stayed here for 4 nights during Easter weekend! We live in Lima, so we came to Puno to relax and enjoy what the city has to offer. We had been at Libertador in Arequipa before so I had the same expectations at this hotel. It is a huge hotel, but would not rate it as a 5 star hotel....
