This hostel is perfect for backpackers and for one night or two. You may want to ask for a room with a window. The ones without are ok but a bit claustrophobic. For one night only they are acceptable though. Staff friendly!

I spent a really pleasant moment in this hostal. The welcome is really really warm and host a nice and helpful. They even offered me a free washing for my clothes. The rooftop is amazing: breakfast with gorgeous view on titicaca lake. My room was simple with no window but clean. I know there is others with sightseeing, ask for...

The hotel is really clean and the personnel is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is really good and the views from the roof terrace are incredible!! The rooms are not good isolated so you can hear everything (neighbour rooms, etc.). The water is not hot!

Slept a night in this hostel. Not the shortest walk from the bus terminal, but the taxi is cheap. Close to the city centre, good bed, nice staff and overall cheap. We stayed here a night, but wouldn't hesitate to stay here longer

We booked 2 nights at this hotel in a private room with ensuite bathroom. When we arrived we were quoted double the price - 70 PEN instead of the 45 PEN that is advertised on their website. It took some negotiating but we got the lower price (but not a room with an ensuite bathroom… I don’t think these even...

We reserved 1 night at the hostel. When we arrived early in the morning the lady was very nice and she let us use the bathroom and prepared a breakfast. She told us that our room will be ready when we return from the tour on the lake. When we came back, there was no room for us anymore. We...

We were booked in by our previous hostel in cusco and we were not disappointed. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the rooms were well furnished with a private bathroom (nice hot shower) and breakfast was included. The breakfast was a fruit salad, bread, jam and coffee - very impressed that it was included. The hostel were even good enough...

Duque Inn was found in a Frech guide to Peru by a traveling companion and rated very highly. After staying two nights I would have to say it's the nicest place I've stayed after a month of traveling around Peru. The staff are very friendly and easy to communicate with despite not speaking much English. The (double) rooms are spacious...

We saw this hotel in the guide book and at s/.15 per person was the cheapest. When we arrived we paid s/.5 extra for breakfast, which was really nice, definately worth the extra! yoghurt and fruit with cereal, bread and jam, fresh juice, tea and coffee. The owners are absolutely lovely and gave good boarder Crossing advice. They have a good...

“5th flr: noisy, door made w thin glass. Wifi good. Rm by front desk: noisier, TV, people buzzing multiple times each to be let in. Wifi bad.”
  • Our view. The building next door is incomplete, but has people living on the main floor.
  • DIY light fixture in the room behind the front desk.
  • Db room with shared bath. Window has a huge crack and it gets cold in Puno at night.
