Gorgeous hotel in Puno. It's not in the heart, but it's just 5-10min walking. The space is gorgeous: A beautiful house with plants and a small garden. Rooms are huge, clean and with very big and comfortable beds. The shower is perfect. It is run by Ursula and her mother. They're very friendly and helpful. In the first floor there's a coffee where you can have your breakfast or, in the afternoon, have some drinks or snacks. And as someone said, it's a great place to grab some drinks and kill some time before you catch the night bus ;) Totally worth and I'd recommend it in a heartbeat!
We loved our stay here. We were in Puno before and after going to Uros and Lake Titicaca, and Ursula and her family were so helpful with everything we needed. The place is beautiful and they were kind enough to get up early to pack us a breakfast for an early flight. It was perfect and very close to the Plaza. To book, we emailed about a month ahead of time and they kept our reservation. Highly recommend this spot if you are going to Puno.
Quaint, cozy, and homey are words that come to mind about our stay. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome. The family owners are so warm, pleasant, and friendly. The room was the right size and comfortable. Their decoration and garden makes it unique.Their onsite restaurant and cafe is also great. Good location - a short walk to the town center.
We spent one night in this lovely accommodation in Puno and we are touched by Edgar and Concha warm welcoming. We felt like we are at home and would have liked to spend some more nights here. Definitively recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a cozy place in Puno.
We spent a night and then an evening waiting for our Peruhop bus - Edger was incredibly kind when it was late - even though we'd checked out for a day trip on the lake and came back for our bags that he had looked after. Consuela cooked a lovely evening meal - being vegetarian and vegan was no problem, and they gave us a very early breakfast - really nice and helped us fit in so much in a short time. The building was full of character, and the garden was so lovely and they were so kind I wish we had had an extra day just to be there relaxing. The location was peaceful but an easy walk into the centre of Puno. We arrived mid day and did an afternoon trip and then an all day one the next day. Casa Panq'arani felt like an oasis of peace.
We spent two days here, the house has a lovely garden perfect for resting and a refuge from the chaos of Puno. The owners are very kind and helpful and prepare lovely food! Good location for visiting Puno and Titicaca.
This was a marvelous, charming place to stay. The hosts are terrific, generous people. A complete pleasure, with beautiful grounds, warm rooms, and a great location. Safe. Secure. Enchanting. I would return in a heartbeat.
Located just outside the chaotic city centre, Casa Panq'arani is something that you don't find very often. Crossing the front door and you are immerse in a different world, the beautiful garden, the structure of the house, the rooms, the kitchen, everything is very special as the owners, Edgar and Consuelo, they are the added value, they will treat you in the best way possible, cuddling, helping, let you feel like your staying at home. The rooms are spacious and unique, the breakfast is plenty and various, you can relax outside the rooms, totally recommended!
Edgar and his wife Consuelo are amazing hosts and really know how to make their guests feel at home! They have a beautiful, historic home located in a very quiet part of Puno, but still well within walking distance of the main downtown area. Very hot water was available 24 hours/day and the private bedroom/bathroom that we stayed in was very comfortable and homey. Our only suggestion would be to bring earplugs because if you stay on the top floor the pigeons walk across the roof at very early hours of the morning and will wake you up. A breakfast of bread, butter, jam, cereals, yogurt, fruit juice, coffee, and teas is available in the morning. Their flower garden is also very beautiful and inviting. Great, strong internet available as well!
We can recommend this place 100% - especially the wonderful hosts edgar and his wife casuela. Cute and clean rooms, decorated with love, welcoming atmosphere and very helpful hosts. Green courtyard like a little oasis, grown over 40 years of gardening by the family. Cosy balcony to hang out, home made breakfast in the hosts cosy kitchen. Warm showers. Edgar was very helpful with information about the city, further travel recommendations in the area and we enjoyed the conversations during our breakfast. He even offered to bring our postcards to the post office :) Full score, one of our favorite places to stay without any doubt!! Check it out and enjoy!
