First of all, I must say that the owner, Jenny, does a lovely and tremmendous job to give a perfect service to all the guests. She sat down with us to explain the city of Puno to us, telling us where we should go and should not go, where we should eat and what tour we could do the next... More

When you walk in and are greeted with a hug you know you are in the right place...Genny is the perfect person to run a friendly and warm hostel. She and the other staff were all incredibly helpful and tailored their recommendations to our interests. Rooms are comfortable though not spacious, shower nice and hot, and the breakfast was very... The owner of this hostel was one of the most lovely and friendly people we met in 6 months of travel. We walked in without a reservation which was no problem, our room was perfect with lovely beds, good shower (as far as electric shower heads go), and very clean. The standard breakfast is lovely, or for a tiny amount... More

The room was clean and the shower was hot. Breakfast was more than the normal bread and jam, but it still left much to be desired. I had an e-mail reservation, but no one had a record of it. The front desk staff did not speak English so communication was very difficult. Originally we were to stay three nights but... More

We arrived late at night and tired from Cusco. We did not have a booking but just turned up. The owner (Jenny i think) was really friendly and welcomed us in. She spoke understandable English which was nice for us. The room was good and had a massive kingsize bed (the first we have encountered on our trip in South... More

Jenny is absolutely amazing. She is so friendly and helpful. It really made our time here enjoyable. We had working hot water and lots of warm blankets on the bed for the cold Puno night. Breakfast was delicious and the space was clean. RECOMMEND to anyone traveling to Puno on a budget.

This was certainly our worst stay on our 11 day Peru trip. The hosts are absolutely fabulous, but the razor-thin carpet, make-shift hot water in the bathroom in a rather cool Puno, left much to be desired. We noticed cleanliness issues as well. This place is ok for younger people, but not for older couples or families. I am not... More

Run by the amazing Jenny (our substitute mum) This place is a must if you are missing some home comforts and a bit of TLC. Jenny gave us hot water bottles every night, tea to take up to our room and the most amazing breakfast we´ve had since arriving in South America - tea, juice, BROWN and white bread etc... More

We went there because Lonely Planet recommended the place. We liked especially the extremely dedicted and helpful staff of this family run hostel. The room was nice ad cosy and there was a very decent hall/common room. The breakfast we were served was awesome! Price of the room with private bathroom was higher than in other places we stayed at... More

This is a really cosy, family owned and operated hotel. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable, with bathroom and warm water all the time. The owners are very helpful and nice. We slept well, ate well, and felt well.
