We only booked our trip to the Amazon once in Peru but weren't disappointed with our choice. You probably only need a few days exploring to get a real sense of the jungle. The lodges were great ...clean rooms with ensuites...didn't need any more luxury as you spend minimal time in them. The food was lovely and served on time....

Conveniently located close to Puerto Maldonado this lodge offers very comfortable accommodations. Our guide Franklin was fantastic and always kept us well informed on our activities. The food was excellent. Electricity is limited as is Wifi. The pool is more like a bath, not so refreshing. Better off taking a cold shower!

We really enjoyed our stay here - everything from the moment we arrived at airport was well organised, the lodge is lovely, our guide John was excellent, as were most of the trips. The bungalows are simple, but there was always plenty of hot water for the shower, and the verandah with its 2 hammocks was the perfect place to...

A 30 minutes boat ride from Puerto Maldonado at the edge of the national reserve. The cottages are great. Electricity is limited and not even fans in the cottages, so be prepared. Attached bathrooms have all the facilities including a locker. Free Wi-Fi near the dinning area available only certain times. The food is excellent even their vegetarian - prior...

The facility is meticulously maintained and the pool was nice in between the many organized trips and tours they schedule throughout the day. Our tour guide, Julio, was particularly excellent, thorough and knowledgeable. The food was also surprisingly good. I highly recommend the place as an easy intro into the Amazon. I would choose the 3 day; this way you...

We booked the 4days/3nights jungle tour well in advance at Corto Maltes. Communication went good so far. We had not really an idea what to expect when we arrived at the airport of Puerto Maldonado. When we walked through the small terminal, somebody from Corto Maltes was waiting for us. Outside the terminal we met our guide for the coming...

We were on limited time during our visited so we opted to visit a lodge that was closer to Puerto Maldonado as to not lose a lot of time in travel. The options and packages offered were versatile and offered a nice sampling of what the Amazon had to offer. The staff was kind, lodging was comfortable and food was...

Visited with the family, staff courteous, non intrusive. Alexis, Our guide, dedicated to us only, grew up in the region. Exploring the jungle and the local market along with him was a great experience. Cabins were just perfect, spacious, clean, hot water 24 hours a day and two Hammocks. We took the 3 days 2 nights package. I visited Corto...
