We stayed here for 2 days in Mid-February 2017. We were very impressed with the cabins, the kings size bed and hammocks in the room. The food was the best that we had in all of Peru, and the serving staff were absolutely fabulous. The bartender was also quite excellent. We were only there for 2 days, but managed to...

We had an absolute best time even though it was very humid of course, we did Oxbow fishing trip that was certainly the highlight of our trip. We were not happy we were charged for water on a free meal.. but food was good and service was great. The guides were outstanding and if you want a feel for the...

The cabins were lovely with an outdoor shower and dipping pool. There is a selection of daily activities to participate in to learn about the area. We took advantage of the massage. The meals were good and the bartender was great. Power is turned off twice per day to conserve. I cannot believe they do not use solar power to...

Stayed here for 3 nights last September (sorry been busy since we got back!). Beautiful location in jungle setting on river back, arrive by boat/canoe. Thatched Cabineros sleep two and well furnished. Great restaurant with lots of food choices. Nice bar but tends to be quiet, not a problem though because you'll probably want to sleep after your activities and...

We booked this lodge/cabana through the American tour company 'Adventures Within Reach' (ask for Barb) and we could not have been more impressed. I could write five pages of things we loved about this place and our experiences, but I'll keep it to just a few: the lodge/cabanas are absolutely stunning, the entire staff (host, guides, waiters, boat drivers, etc.)...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Inkaterra Lodge. The staff collected us from Puerto Maldonado airport & took us to the Madre de adios river for a 45 minute boat trip to the lodge. We stayed in comfortable huts, with lovely food in the restaurant & friendly helpful staff. The highlights are the tours the jungle guides run into...

It was everything that I expected and more. If you are not a nature lover and a flexible person, this wont be easy to enjoy. If you love nature and plan to be immerse in it, this is the place to be. Everything is surrounded by the Jungle, everywhere you look you see nature on all its splendor. The resort...

We just returned from the Inkaterra Amazonica Reserva and provided below is an accurate assessment that may be useful to future visitors. Bottom line, this Inkaterra is a unique and wonderful experience that I recommend. This is an upscale ecolodge in the jungle of the Peruvian rain forest. But it is an ecolodge in the jungle. That means no wifi,...

This is my first stay in an eco-lodge. Absence of tv, wifi, or cell phone signal are all expected. However the limited availability of electricity during many hours of the day requires definite personal adjustment. It is hot as expected in Amazon even in their spring season. Very difficult to sleep without a fan on at night after 10 pm....

My family and I stayed at the Reserva Amazonica for three nights while we went on many of their offered jungle excursions. The staff there takes care of you from literally start to finish - they pick you up at the Puerto Maldonado airport, drive you to the boat port in a private bus, and take you down the river...
