We loved our stay at Reserva Amazonica. The cabanas are very comfortable, the excursions are fun and informative, and the food and service are excellent. Our tour guide Yomi was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful at all times. This was a highlight of our trip to Peru. We also splurged on the Pirhana fishing trip for two of our party -...

My wife and I spent 3 nights and 4 days here in March 2017. Checking in and out of the resort was flawless and fast. The resort provided great accommodation. The excursions were awesome and our guide on them (Victor) was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. The quality of the food was excellent - breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of the...

The lodge is lovely and we were lucky to be upgraded to a larger bungalow which helped make the experience that much more comfortable as with 3 active walks a day wet clothes abound. We felt the guides were terrific and really made the Amazon experience for us above everything else. However, these guides are not exclusive to this resort...

We requested a room with a river view - we were given cabin 22 - it has the best view of the river of all the cabins with a river view. It was wonderful waking in the morning and looking at the river rushing past from your bed. Whilst the food was average the was plenty of it - you...

We stayed here for 2 days in Mid-February 2017. We were very impressed with the cabins, the kings size bed and hammocks in the room. The food was the best that we had in all of Peru, and the serving staff were absolutely fabulous. The bartender was also quite excellent. We were only there for 2 days, but managed to...

We had an absolute best time even though it was very humid of course, we did Oxbow fishing trip that was certainly the highlight of our trip. We were not happy we were charged for water on a free meal.. but food was good and service was great. The guides were outstanding and if you want a feel for the...

The cabins were lovely with an outdoor shower and dipping pool. There is a selection of daily activities to participate in to learn about the area. We took advantage of the massage. The meals were good and the bartender was great. Power is turned off twice per day to conserve. I cannot believe they do not use solar power to...

Stayed here for 3 nights last September (sorry been busy since we got back!). Beautiful location in jungle setting on river back, arrive by boat/canoe. Thatched Cabineros sleep two and well furnished. Great restaurant with lots of food choices. Nice bar but tends to be quiet, not a problem though because you'll probably want to sleep after your activities and...

We booked this lodge/cabana through the American tour company 'Adventures Within Reach' (ask for Barb) and we could not have been more impressed. I could write five pages of things we loved about this place and our experiences, but I'll keep it to just a few: the lodge/cabanas are absolutely stunning, the entire staff (host, guides, waiters, boat drivers, etc.)...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Inkaterra Lodge. The staff collected us from Puerto Maldonado airport & took us to the Madre de adios river for a 45 minute boat trip to the lodge. We stayed in comfortable huts, with lovely food in the restaurant & friendly helpful staff. The highlights are the tours the jungle guides run into...
