The San Blas islands are absolutely beautiful. The facilities are extremely basic but this is part of the charm. With no WiFi or phone signal you can completely detach yourself from the stress of everyday life and truly relax! It doesn't take long to adjust to the slower pace of life. If you do want to do some activities, there...

I'have been on holiday with my family for the end of December in this fantastic island.A beautiful experience but without facilities...The water is perfect, clear and cleaned. The island is fantastic, but there are too much huts in the island and they are too nearby each other. The island is very very small(like a football field),with only four common bathroom without hygiene and without...

We stayed 3 nights at Franklin's and enjoyed our stay VERY much. We had one of the private cabañas in front of the white beach. We only have positive points to make: - clean toilets and showers ( pipe with cold water) - beautiful and clean beach (they clean it every morning) - no mosquitos and no sand fleas -...

We booked a private cabin here from Areka hostel in Panama City. It was Senidup, though I never heard the word "Franklin". An indigenous Guna named Tony was the owner. He took time to explain some of the Guna culture and history which was fantastic. The island was gorgeous. Our cabnin was very peimitive and there were toilets and showers...

The place is WONDERFUL. Different from any other Caribbean place. I have been to el Caribe many times, but never in a hut on the beach! If you love luxury, this is NOT for you, but if you love adventure, peace, nature....go there! My husband and I rented a hut on the beach and spent two nights at Franklin's. Kuna...

Absolutely beautiful tiny island surrounded by perfect blue seas, filled with friendly travelers and some nice locals. Super basic amenities, sand floor huts right on the edge of the beach. Arranged for this trip at Luna's Castle in Panama City. It was $90 roundtrip with jeep & boat, and we stopped at a grocery store on the way to stock...

I booked to stay at Franklins through Mamallena (a hostel in Panama City). Here they have all of the information about the different islands and call and make the bookings for you. It was a lot cheaper than going through other adventure companies. Here is the run down of our costs per person: - $60 return 4WD trip that picks...

Everything from the ride over to the island to the stay was great. The accommodations are simple....huts w sand flooring, basic bed and a sheet, but that's what we were looking for. The island is small and you can walk around the whole thing in 5 minutes. The sand is white, the water a beautiful and clear blue/green and the...

The small Franklin island divided to two hostels. I stayed at Cabañas Senidup in the northern side. They offer both dorm and private rooms, 3 meals, cold sodas and beer, toilets and showers (with brackish water), hammocks, volleyball court, islands tours, and of course - amazing white sand beach, clear shallow ocean with beautiful reef! I recommend snorkeling on the...

Island is very nice. But small and up to 95 beds!! impossible to stay on hight season. Franklin and other staff are very unfriendly. They only care about money. Food really bad. No fresh fish, bad rice... I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS ISLAND
