Like other reviewers have commented, this large hotel is clean, with sizable room/bathroom, hot water (and plenty of it!), good WiFi, in-room safe, A/C, elevator. The restaurant offers a good variety of menu items at reasonable prices, including room service. The best part is the location - 1/3 mile to the bus terminal. A taxi from the airport will cost...

I've stayed there twice, both times I was visiting David for business. The location is very convenient. Be sure to ask for a room not facing the street, it can be a little noisy. The rooms are decent (ok mattress, weak pillows), nothing fancy, hot water, cable TV, WiFi and AC. The hotel has secure free parking and the staff...

We've stayed at Hotel Alcala before, and we've always been happy with the service. The check-in is always easy, and the variety of rooms is great. We've stayed with parties from 4 - 6 people, and have had good rooms. The hotel is simple, and not a luxury place by any means. But, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are...

Room: Noisy with thin walls and right on the street/Side Walk. Parking: Under Ground/Covered - Dark, small, and not enough. TV: Flat screen .. OK .. Channels good .. Bed: Fair at best .. Pillows ( Not Good ) Bathroom Good: Hot Water & Fast Value: Fair ... They will probably try to raise your room rate ..

We just love this place! Clean, excellent water pressure, and a restaurant on site are factors that make this place a favorite. We have stayed twice, and both times our room has a window with room darkening curtains placed far away from the bed, so if you like to sleep in, it stays dark after daylight. The staff are friendly...

Be in no doubt, David ain't a pretty place, nor is it interesting. But it's friendly and it's where I found myself needing to be for a night, which turned into two nights because my outbound flight was cancelled. Alcalá is a large hotel a few blocks from Plaza Cervantes, the staff are friendly and efficient and the hotel offers...

This is a 'silk purse' hotel in a 'sow's ear' of a town. The hotel was wonderful. Friendly staff, very accommodating and very comfortable property. However, the property is in the middle of a depressing and scary area of David, Panama. The area does have a large commerce consisting of small kiosks and vendors, which was fine, but if you...
