The Lost Establos Boutique Hotel was everything we hoped for in beauty and location. Elevated above the central valley and town of Boquete we had a wonderful view of the whole valley and the volcano Baru from our outside patio. Gorgeous sunsets every night with a cool breeze. Clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. With their meal plan you...

My fourth trip to Boquete and it just keeps getting better. On this trip I decided to bring my lady friend for a few days of total relaxation just outside of town at Los Establos. Stayed in one of the suites, listened to the cool wind blow through the mountains and rattle the windows of our room at night. Ahhhhhhhhhh....

I 'won' a 5 night stay at Los Establos through a local charity. The flyer quotes a worth of $2,700 but when I read the fine print I realized all I won was a scam. The charity informed everyone that food was not included with the trips, which was not a problem for me because I like to go out...

We just returned from our trip to Panama and a 4 night stay at Los Establos. We could not have been happier with the service and the accommodations at this lovely resort. It is almost as if you are in a Bed and Breakfast, as you get to know the owners, the staff, and may have all your meals prepared...

We went to Los Establos recently, and loved it. We felt like we were at home, not at a hotel. It is very helpful to go to a place like this if you want a nice getaway while in Panama City. Staying here was very helpful because we wanted to take some day trips and the resort helped us plan...

We had such a wonderful experience at Los Establos! The owners Rob and Irena treated us like family and took care of our every need. The suites were beautiful and the view off my balcony of the volcano and mountainside was truly spectacular. I loved the resort with coffee always made in the central kitchen and the living room where...

Los Establos is set in the highlands, surrounded by rainforest, mountains, and coffee plantations. The area is gorgeous. The hotel staff is kind and caring. The hotel itself is stunning and the rooms are well-appointed. We especially enjoyed the daily reception in the great room, which provided an opportunity to unwind after a day of adventuring and to meet the...

The reason we came to Boquete and Los Establos was we were supporting our local charity; Elite vacations stated value was $180/room, double occupancy. We had to pay an additional $115pp,per night, plus tax to include meals and choice of activity ( approx $254/couple/day). We were aware of that as that was paid in advance. All in all cost= $434 per couple...

We are sorry that you had a bad experience in your short visit at Los Establos and Boquete. Unfortunately as you mentioned you arrived in a middle of storm with no electricity, strong winds and rain, which is very unusual in our area, but we all learn from this and I am pleased to announce that we did ordered a...

What a fantastic visit! We booked our room through Elite Island Resorts; Angela was fantastic at accommodating a million questions and working with quite a few scheduling changes. Ultimately we ended up with a fairly last minute "Girls Weekend" trip for New Years! Immediately upon our arrival we were greeted by Giovanni, who promptly settled us in and was able...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A Boutique Inn in Boquete with tropical gardens and volcano views. Originally built as a fancy stable, this boutique hacienda still celebrates all things equine - think bronze horse statuettes, a cowhide rug, and rooms named for the former barn residents (Chombita, Rosita, Solita, more). Wrought iron, regal columns and colonial arches abound, as do tasteful furnishings picked up around South and Central America, including an impressive snakewood dining set carved by hand in Argentina. ... more   less
